Paper Source — Local services in Edina

While we love the products available through Paper Source, our experience with a large order left us very dissatisfied.

We attempted to buy our daughter’s wedding invitations through this store. The order amount exceeded $1000 and we were planning to purchase additional items. We paid for the entire order upfront. The ordering process was complex and cumbersome (we had to order the envelopes, liners and customization ourselves online rather than store personnel doing this for us). We expected more from Paper Source given the amount and complexity of the wedding invitation order. Had we not had a computer with us and had them help us through the process, there is no way we could have done it ourselves (not intuitive). After placing the order, we then learned that the liners required manual assembly. The store manager was not aware of this additional step, nor the extra +$100 required and the amount was not included in our estimate (which she did not provide upon ordering).

Finally, the store manager was rather complacent about the whole thing (e.g., never said “thank you for your business,” offered to offset the $100 additional envelope expense, offered a mild apology for the inconvenience of having to order envelopes ourselves vs. store personnel doing this for us).

Since the experience left us with little confidence that the entire order would be properly processed and that we felt our business was not valued, we cancelled the order. While our card was quickly debited for the expense of the order, we are still waiting...

Disappointed at the out come of my box wrapping. Rich was great and did everything right but I believe they gave me someone who was still training to do my wrapping and she forgot to put tissue in the box with my gift. The wrapping wasn’t that crisp as well which left me frustrated. It’s Valentine’s Day, one of probably the busiest days for gift wrapping and the service wasn’t there on such an important day. I love shopping in this store for what ever items I need. They have everything I truly need. I love there selection of color paper & envelopes. They have cute & fun items for everyone. I love to make cards. This is the perfect store to shop if your into making cards. I can't wait to go back and shop in this store. After it re opens from the virus. I miss shopping & seeing people working there as will. That's why I give it 5 stars. I could give it a million stars. But I...
