Junior's Supermarket — Local services in Edinburg

There is just so much stuff in here you won’t find in other stores. They got groceries, Mexican candies, and they got a meat market In the back and entering to the right they sell food ready made and they got tables for you to eat. They can also make you food from scratch if they have the ingredients this doesn’t always happen but sometimes the ladies are nice enough to make you a custom meal. Also behind the places to eat there is another stand we’re lady sells chicken salads and a mixture of cold foods and desserts. They also got a bakery in the center with tons of donuts cookies and cakes. Also there is a lady here that I’m not sure who she is I can’t remember but I think someone once told me that she’s the owner or the manager. She’s a very nice lady if you get to know her and I don’t know if she does it all the time but sometimes she walks around giving free stuff out and not just samples. But I haven’t been to the part of the store she works at in a long time so I don’t know if she still there. If By luck you happen to meet her She will address and fix any issues you have she will make things right. The cashiers and store clerks that work here are also very kind and helpful. I have read some of the other reviews and I totally disagree. Junior’s is a great place. This was my first time there and I have to say, it smells DELICIOUS in there. From what I saw, junior’s shelves were well stocked, fresh food at the ready, the freshly made tortillas looked and smelled amazing. Being able to see all the food being made in the moment is a big plus in my eyes. The staff was hard at work, courteous, and attentive. The produce looked great and fresh, what a great variety of peppers, avocados, u umbers and more. To top it off, the bread( conchas) looked delightful so I bought a whole bunch. I ended up buying menudo, chicken and beef tamales, sooooo good, and it came with chopped onions and cilantro, salsa verde, and red salsa, and super soft and delicious tortillas. Do not go here guys. They changed the price of stuff without you knowing. Last night i went to go buy fajita from there because the price seemed really good. The butcher came out, asked me what i wanted and gave me it. When he went to go weigh it this other older butcher came out and wispered something to him and touched the scale. It did seem a little suspicious but i didnt think much of it. Once i paid and got home and started cooking i noticed the label had a different price per pound. I was so mad, i didnt even enjoy my meal. On the label the name of the butcher comes out but i belive the older one was the one that told him to change it that way. DONT SHOP HERE GO...
