Bamboo Nail & Spa is by far the best nail spa I have ever visited nationwide. I travel A LOT & have lived in several major metro cities and Bamboo is by far the best of the best. Kaylee was my nail tech at a salon in Yukon for over a year and when she opened up her own luxury nail spa I just had to follow her! Boy am I glad I did!!! This new salon is spectacular! From the custom imported full ceiling bamboo chandelier to the modern work station set up to the super high tech massage chairs, this place is bar-non!! They even serve premium snacks and delicious top shelf frozen margaritas and piƱa coladaās just like they serve in the Caribbean!! Their pedicures are the best and cleanest around, and of course use brand new tools per every guest. Kaylee does an impeccable job and will never let anyone else ever touch my nails again. She is always above the curve with nail design innovation. She is truly an artist. She does the real unicorn nails, sculpted flowers and other designs, hand painted designs, marble & granite nails that look identical to real marble & granite, she works magic with hundreds of unique genuine Swarovski crystals and embellishments and she always has something new every time I come in. Last week she started using several different colors of mirror like cellophane film that transfers the brilliant color right onto the nail! They also have dozens of patterned transfers as well with lace patterns, fishnet, plaid and many more. Itās just gorgeous over the clear. Another new product she used is a super fine crystal clear powder that creates glass like nails. Oh, and you want to know the best part?! She charges only a fraction of what the other specialists charge and the other specialists canāt even do half of what Kaylee does! I know most of the nail techs are capable of doing most of the new techniques and if they canāt or just need assistance then one of the techs will walk over and help create whatever it is you dreamed up! They are truly like a family over there and will treat you like you are a part of it, instead of like the other places where you constantly worry if they are talking bad about you right in front of your face the whole time. Iāve received several pedicures from the other nail techs and they did amazing as well so itās not just Kaylee that knows her craft well! She really did pick the best people around to make her new business thrive so the next time you are in the mood to be pampered and primped call Bamboo Nail & Spa and tell them Tifany(yes one F) sent you!! Have...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI donāt like making negative reviews, but Iām too irritated about this to Not post about it. First of all they way over charged me on a set I didnāt even ask for. I came in asking for basic acrylic. Then they decided to add on powder and gel when I never asked for it because when I came in I asked how much a Basic acrylic manicure cost and the lady at the front told me $21 or 30 if I did gel. I also asked the lady that did my nails if gel or acrylic was better since I heard that gel lasted longer and she told me no acrylic last longer so I told her OK then do acrylic yet when I go to pay my total is $71 which I also did nail art so I knew there was gonna be an extra $15 added onto my 21 for that, but I was not expecting double the price. At this point she tells me about the whole gel nail polish and powder situation which Iām confused about considering I never asked for powder nor gel, I asked for the acrylic, she said it was acrylic Powder? Iām not really sure but she was trying to show me the pricing sheet and it just really confused me how they had everything set up. She comped it down to $56 which I guess is better, but still more than I was expecting to pay. Anyways The manicure itself isnāt bad, but for $71 itās not exactly that quality either. Also the nail art isnāt exactly the best. I asked her if she could do it and she said yes, if it was too difficult then thatās fine. She didnāt have to do it, but Iām irritated I have to pay for something that looks mediocre when in all of the reviews of the pictures of everyone elseās nails Iāve seen so far look amazing. If I wanted subpar nails, I would go to Walmart for half the price. I came in specifically looking for a pick me up to help me feel better from my depressive episode but I left feeling irritated and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe work is good but they have to teach their staff how to treat their customers in a professional manner. The lady who approached me to provide their services is very judgemental and racial. Me being an international student I felt really bad for going there, she started the conversation by questioning me if I am okay with their pricing and by giving me a nasty look. And I observed that kind of greeting happened to me but not to any other locals. When I am getting my nails done, I also requested to add glitter on the nails, and she responded rudely saying it is extra $10 for all 10 nails, and when I mentioned it is just for two nails as it is in the picture, she has charged me $6 extra just for adding glitter on 2 nails and it didnāt make any sense to me. But end of the the money doesnāt really matter but the way she treated me has made me very uncomfortable and it wasnāt my first visit to that place, I have been there before but this kind of behaviour and attitude should be highlighted and no one else should face such kind of disrespect and discrimination I faced today. I just canāt express the way she looked and me spoke to me on this review, it is a lot more that what I mentioned here. Anyways this is not the only place to get nails done, there are many other excellent places in the city to get nails done for a price of $56.
I will highly recommend international people to not...
