Reclaiming Arts — Local services in Edmond

We signed our daughter up to take dace at ARTS this year. The quality of the classes were very poor. About 2 months into our classes, there was a group of 3 year olds added to my 6 year old's class. The class that she was enrolled in was described as a class for 6-7 year olds. Needless to say, my daughter did not learn anything because the teacher had to spend all of her time getting the 3 years olds to listen. Also, the owners are very unprofessional. There was an instance where one of the owners was openly yelling and screaming to another employee while students were present. There was never an explanation or apology given for this unnecessary outburst. Needless to say, we withdrew our daughter this semester from classes at this school and will not be recommending it to anyone...

First, the new owner, Shelby Rogers is an amazing, godly woman. She is kind, gracious and wonderful with the students and staff.

I have 4 children that take classes there -- ballet, aerial, theatre, vocal, hip hop, jazz. They have learned and progressed so much both in skill and character because of the teachers and peer interactions.

I love that teachers and students pray with the students. It's reassuring that the music is positive and uplifting and you don't have to worry about lyrics. The costumes are not revealing and are age appropriate, as are the dance moves -- not suggestive at all.

I have danced at edmond performing arts center for 14 years now. I have never had a negative experience. The owner, mandy o'neal, is very professional, yet personable. She makes it a point to get to know each of the dancers, even when there are so many! The teachers at EPAC have always made me feel loved and supported, each one spending the time to mentor me. They make it a point to not only teach us dance, but also the love of Christ. The teachers at EPAC are all well qualified to teach dance.
