Old School Bagel Cafe — Restaurant in Edmond

So disappointed with the online order I received this morning. I ordered a Carmel Macchiato, a fruit cup, and a bagel with strawberry cream cheese, seems simple enough right? Well first the strawberry cream cheese tasted super off, obviously I know it’s gonna be sweet but I sincerely thought it was cake frosting when I first saw and tasted it, I’ve never had strawberry cream cheese that color (it was incredibly bright almost neon pink, the picture really doesn’t do it justice) or that sweet from old school bagel cafe and I couldn’t eat it cause it made me absolutely sick to my stomach. The fruit cup was fine but the fruit was nasty and brown. The biggest disappointment of all though was the “Carmel Macchiato” which calling it that is an under joke considering THERE WAS NO COFFEE in my cup whatsoever, obviously I didn’t check it after they handed to me because she made it when I picked up my order, I guess it’s my fault for not watching her like a hawk making it the whole time but you know I just figured there would obviously be COFFEE in the coffee I ordered, but when I took a sip out of it I had to spit it out. I opened the lid to see if I just needed to stir it up, I stirred it up and it was actually all just milk and whatever syrup they put in it,, not even a drop of coffee in it, I even dumped some of it out to see if I was just going crazy and yup it was just a hot cup of milk and syrup. I would absolutely tell everyone to not go to this location, especially in the morning before you go to work cause it’ll just ruin your day like...

So I have been coming here since I was a teenager. I love the food. It's always so good. And since I don't live or work near one, I come out of my way for what I think is a treat. Today was extremely disappointing. I get the cowboy club everytime. I get it on an everything bagle, I get mustard and mayo, and cold. Now back in the day they used to put roast beef on this sandwich and changed it a few years ago to pork. For safty reasons the pork has to be heated. Which is fine. But I make it very clear. The pork can be heated the rest is cold. So occasionally it does get messed up and come out completely hot. This was the case today. I sent it back. Got it back and they forgot the mustard and mayo. When I walked up again they gave me the stuff to do it myself. So I'm kinda annoyed at this point. Then I open my bottle coke and it was warm. Their bottom Fridge must be broken. I am mad at this point. And as you can see the sandwich was not well made. Very disappointed. I will come back but it might be awhile. Over the last 6-12 months this has become the place I get take out food from the most. There are some weeks where I get bagels from here almost everyday. Karen and the rest of the staff at this location do a fantastic job. It’s one of the very few places I get take out from that I can say has quite literally never messed up any part of my order (and I request unique customizations for my bagels and drink). Needless to say, the food is fantastic.

Their staff is always friendly and efficient. They prepare your order really quickly whether you call ahead or place your order in person. The drive thru here is another thing that sets this location a step above some of the other locations. The drive thru option has become especially nice ever since the beginning of the pandemic.
