Went there to get a watch battery installed, guy at the store said they could do it but I would have to leave it because they had so many things to do before me. I said doesn't it just take like 5 minutes, and got a shity look, and left. thanks a lot. To your response I say number one the gentleman that I was talking to walked over to me like he was finished, and number two I was told that I would have to leave my watch, I wasn't told anything about same day, I was just told that I would have to leave my watch. And how long does it take to install a watch battery? 5 minutes tops! I don't think that would have interrupted anybody's promised service for the day. That's kind of ridiculous to think 5 minutes would have absolutely upset the whole process. I was there, he referred me to another jewelry store which is out of the ordinary, and I'm also handicapped so getting out walking in leaving doing someplace else is not an option. And I do support local businesses 100%. I was in the grocery business for 45 years, and I know what customer service is I don't have to have you tell me what customer service is. Also, you said I was unwilling to wait 5 minutes, that's not what I was told I was told that I would have to leave my watch. If I was told I could get it in 5 minutes I would have waited so...
Read moreI dropped off a few pieces of gold jewelry to be repaired. After several weeks, they could not find our jewelry and then when we picked it up, the gold clasp they were supposed to repair was replaced with something silver in color. They are insisting that is the same clasp that was dropped off, although you can clearly see that it is not gold. Also, the area that was repaired is not even the same area that was broken which reassures me that the piece of gold is not the same as the piece in dropped off. My husbands chain repair was terrible, so now his chain hangs at an angle in the area they fixed. I was obviously not happy and will not...
Read moreWe dropped off a ring (family heirloom) on Saturday, March 13th. The jeweler apparently didn't want to mess with it (Just a silver ring with opal in it), but we said we would pay their price ($80) to repair and polish it. It may not be worth their time, but they should have told us that up front. They sent it to another jeweler to polish the stone. It is April 7th and it is still not ready. My wife just called again and got the same 'It should be this week" we've gotten for weeks now. We have used them in the past and never had a problem. I seriously doubt we will be back and certainly would not...
