These people who are saying this is the best Mexican food. They've ever eaten, maybe only in Oklahoma City, because this is the worst Mexican food. I've ever eaten in all of the places.I've ever traveled. The only thing I could absolutely honestly recommend are the chips, not the salsa. And queso, that came with the chips, just the chips. The food had a little flavor but it was overcooked and tough. The service was horrible. After sitting for 10 minutes, we finally were able to put our drink orders in, follow it app by another 25 minutes before we were able to put our food order in followed by at least another 20 or 25 minutes before we received our food. Not to mention, we had to ask for silverware, which also took quite a while to get. For a newly opened restaurant, my knife was hanging on by a thread and I had steak that needed to be cut. My meal was supposed to come with corn tortillas, they brought flour about 5 minutes after the meal. Our server neither spoke nor understood english. The bartender was nice and the drinks were okay? My meal was fourteen ninety nine I took two bites and left it on my plate. That is an hour and a half and I wish I could get back. We waited so long for our server to come and check on us and give us the bill, then we got tired of waiting and we cast out with the bar tender.

We also noticed several other people left without eating their food. This place has been open for 2 weeks. I hope...

This is a completely unbiased review with no expectations being held. Upon arriving, we had to wait 25 minutes before being asked what we wanted to drink. My wife had to stand up and grab menus because the waitress only attended us once throughout our visit. Neither utensils nor napkins were offered to us. The chips and cheese sauce were good, I did not care for the salsa though. As for what we ordered. The tacos were acceptable, a little greasy but oddly enough the tortillas they used were good. Nothing that stood out with their pastor or bistek. My wife’s taco salad fell short in every aspect, with the expection of the shell. They did a hell of a job frying that apparently. Regardless of the bad taco salad, my wife couldn’t even start eating it the first 10 minutes of arriving. I had to ask two different waiters to bring utensils and a water refill. Overall I don’t think we will be visiting again. Had the service at least been better, I wouldn’t have gone through the trouble of writing a review. I hope that this review is seen as constructive criticism instead of insulting, as I wish to see all local businesses thrive (especialmente negocios...

I had to tell you this! The other day I went to taqueria San Julian which left me completely delighted, I went with my husband. You can't imagine how delicious the food was. Everything, from the starter to the dessert, it was noticeable that they use fresh ingredients and that everything is made with love, I really saw many comments about the waitresses, I got a very charming waitress very smiling, she told us that her name was Lilian, she is a good waitress she also explained the menu with accuracy and details about it, she gave us her special dish that is the shepherd's spinning top, she was attentive throughout our stay in everything, she gave us space what we needed, answered our questions and explained to us about the sauces, I asked her how she knew everything The menu and its specials, she told me that she worked in the kitchen and that she was delighted to be able to explain the menu to us to be able to return exactly and she also explained to us about the drinks that are called "fresh waters" we ordered a horchata or Jamaica, she told us that they made it right there, and it is very nice and for the next time we go we want Lilian...

Vegetarian Review... I went to San Julian after seeing an review on OKC foodie Big Tre Smith@bigtre_ Instagram Authentic Mexican restaurants are not typically vegetarian friendly outside of rice and beans or quesadilla.. I had to eat rice and beans and corn tortelia, HOWEVER owner was willing to make anything I wanted special ordered. She was amazingly kind and accommodating. San Julian had the best corn tortilla, rice, and beans and my friend said the street tacos where amazing..... I will be returning and better prepared nextime However they should consider finding 1 or 2 vegetarian dishes on the menu.... San Julians was very much worth the stop.

My foodie friend and I were first timers today at lunch. We had a wonderful experience. Out server went above and beyond to make our experience great. We enjoyed a mix of street tacos and dips; every bite was wonderful. Food wasn't overly spicy, but they had all kind of salsa options to spice things up...chipotle, tomatillo, and habanero. Something for everyone. The vibe was colorful and upbeat with a comfortable, fun energy. We started making plans for our next visit before we left the table. Plus, it's family owned, so it's a great opportunity to EAT LOCAL!!
