Kohl's — Local services in Effingham

Really really long time to wait at the return desk. I stood over 20 minutes in line cumulatively. My grandparents had sent me a couple sweaters that were too big for my fiancé and I. They had given me two return receipts, and, as it turns out they sent me two of the same receipts, both of which were not the correct receipts - they were receipts for some other purchase they had made, likely for their other grandchildren. Obviously not the employee's fault, but I just asked to exchange it for in -store credit and it had to be the SAME brand, for the SAME price for both of them otherwise I would only get their value. When I was trying to figure out my options the lady at the desk was so rude about it and just acted like a complete Karen. It was like pulling teeth to try to explain what had happened with the receipts and what I was trying to do, exchange for in-store credit. She genuinely acted she had never heard the words "return" or "exchange" before. She had a really bad attitude and it made an irritating situation all that more frustrating. I had to explain myself several times and she just acted so annoyed with me. Kohl's has a terrible return policy and the older ladies at the return desk were very unpleasant. Not much reason...

I love visiting Kohl's, especially before Christmas. One of my favorite things they have is Harry London white chocolate covered pretzels. They're so good! They have good smelling candles, beautiful home decor, photo frames, clothing, make-up, skin care, parfumes and cologne, name brand items and their brands, such as Apt. 9. I love their towels and bedding. Their jersey sheets are the best! I have heather grey, marled black, and light gray jersey sheets. They stay on our beds very well. We have one bed that's very tall and has a mattress topper on it and regular sheets won't fit it, but their jersey sheets fit perfect and I purchase them during the Black Friday event for about $20! They're worth every cent! Their jewelry is amazing. I just love browsing in the store and my only downfall is the amount that I end up spending...

Kohls is LITERALLY the only place to shop in Effingham for childrens clothing and the selection is HORRIBLE. While there is quite a variety in toddler and small boys, I can never find anything in size 8 - 12 in boys. My son needs a jacket. I went to Kohls and there was only ONE jacket to choose from and it was thin, flimsy, made in China and would have lasted maybe a day if I would have bought it for him. PLEASE consider getting a larger, better variety of boys clothing as I do not want to have to drive to Mattoon, Terre Haute or further for find...
