The Atrium — Local services in El Monte

Although there is a management building in the middle of the complex, management is rarely here. Trying to contact them for help on their supplied contact info goes nowhere. After contacting them at their parent company and apartment complex, The Parker Apartments, they will respond, but they will ask not to contact them there.

The front door lock to the complex has been broken for 6-12 months or more. This allows anyone to enter at will, which has also led to our mailboxes being broken into and one being completely destroyed and again not repaired.

The lights outside are on a set timer and not based on a calendar variable or light sensor to adjust for day light savings time. There have been times when the lights have not come on for hours while the complex is in the dark, which provides another vulnerability.

Some things I do like are that the washers and dryers are paid with an app and can alert you when it is time for the laundry to be completed. I don't know if it is officially allowed, but I have noticed a number of ring doorbells going up that haven't been told to...

Update: Decided to go in person to try and catch the someone during "office hours". The 'locked' door to the complex was wide open. The entire complex smelled STRONGLY of dog urine and feces. And, there was feces SMEARED all over MULTIPLE surfaces. I wish I took a photo but I just bolted. Save your stomach, look elsewhere.

Toured this place and really liked it. However, I have reached out every week for the past 4 months (I should give up). I have emailed, called the multiple numbers they have posted, and filled out multiple online contact forms.

Only once have I reached a person and they were a 3rd party that did not have the info for this place. I only keep trying because the location is great for me. But, I recommend saving yourself the time...

Moved into an apartment they did half ass work and within the month I needed maintenance to fix things that should’ve have been fixed before someone moves into an apartment. It takes them about a month to six months for things to get fixed and still waiting. As the months goes on the monthly bills increase drastically for a one person living in the apartment and management can never do anything. Horrible experience.
