A $70 diagnostic fee for a water damaged laptop that wouldn't power on...moreover, it apparently takes more than 4 days to make a diagnostic report for this...
Update. I go to pick up the diagnostic report that I paid for and was refused. The clerk then decided to make baseless and unsubstantiated claims about rude remarks directed at him via a prior phone conversation when all he did was attempt to upsell me on his already substandard service . Truly reflects the culture of el paso to be rude, disrespectful and incompetent towards those not from this town
moreover I was lied to TWICE by the individual first claiming a supervisor was not available then circuitously states he was supposedly the manager. Not someone I would trust with a managerial position much less any position requiring technical knowledge.

Since this place seems so inclined to falsehoods. First of all, it's Dr. Brookins, not Mr. Brookins. Secondly, the claim that I requested a false statement is perjurous due to the fact that I SPECIFICALLY stated the item was water damaged and merely needed a diagnostic report stating this and that the device was nonfunctional. Nothing of this statement was false. There was in fact diffuse condensation over and inside the laptop as it had to sit while i was away on active duty training, hence the observed corrosion. Verbatim, i requested a statement that said: "water damage, device non operational" i in fact did not ask for quotes on vsrious repair services. Rather than provide a quote for repairs, you attempted to capitalize on the customers presentation to continuously upsell various repair services instead of simply providing a diagnostic report. Yes i did pay the $70 as it was required by jose to look at the laptop. So continues, the trend of false accusations by this establishment.y you did at least refund me since you failed miserably at proviidng a simple service diagnostic. If that doesn't sum up the mentality of this "business", I'm not sure how more aptly to articulate it. I'm happy to say I found MUCH better service elsewhere that promptly resolved my issue. But thank you sincerely for taking the time to read and respond spitefully to my honest review. You truly reflect the poor culture of el paso, yet I wish you the best in your future endeavors. I'm sure any business can masquerade their services to accumulate positive reviews, however it takes more skill to definitively address and debunk honest negative ones. Read moreI brought my gaming pc to be checked out at this place they told me it would be a 165 dollar diagnostic fee. I was fine with this because I figured surely they would help me fix my problem. My computer kept booting into the bios and was unable to boot into windows. I explained to them that I’ve tried different ram sticks and a different cpu in my computer which did not fix the issue. They called me telling me that they thought the cpu was the issue which immediately proved they did not try to place a different cpu in the computer which is something I told them I’ve already tried. Ultimately they ended up charging me the 165 dollars with no help in fixing my pc. This motivated me to figure out the problem myself. Turns out the SSD I had was corrupted and I was able to boot into windows with a usb once I unplugged the ssd sata cable. This proves that even something simple as unplugging the hard drive and doing a fresh windows install onto another drive is something this shop didn’t even attempt. Which makes me wonder how far they even attempted to fix my pc. Will not be coming here again. I regret allowing this shop to take 165 dollars from me for essentially doing...
Read moreTwo weeks ago my PS4 was repaired by these guys because of overheating, they said the fan did not need to be replaced. A few days after getting the PS4 back from them the fan became extremely loud and vibrated the system which it never had done. It began to overheat and shut off again, so we took the system back, on the 24th( late so i dont count that as a day). It is now the 27th and they have yet to even diagnose the system. The receipt we have says 1-2 business days for repair under the 90 day guarantee but it is now the 3rd and the issue has yet to be diagnosed. Please fix the issue, in a timely matter and i will change my review.
First edit, so now they are saying that because the fan now needs to be replaced, (The very same issue we took it for the first time, and this time also) we have to repay the labor cost, an additional $54 to retrieve my PS4.
Edit, spoke with a manager, manny, he was very helpful and saw the error. I will be paying for the replacement fan, but not the labor, which is very agreeable. He even applied ten percent discount. Hopefully the repair goes smooth this time, thank you...
