So my first experience here was pretty well ordered my food over the phone. It took me a while to get to my order as I had made a stop before coming in to pick it up when I got there they were kind enough to go ahead and reheat my food for me which was very nice as I was there I seen that they had cheesecake so I decided to put an order in for that as well. After receiving my order I went home to realize they had forgotten to put the cheesecake in the bag, not a problem as I had a emailed receipt and I would go back when I could to retrieve the cheesecake that I had purchased with that being said I came back about a week later because I have a pretty busy lifestyle I kept forgetting to go up there or to give them a call so while driving one day I remembered and decided to give them a call. Let them know, I did have a receipt from the purchase and I would be happy to show it to them as I understood it was just an accident. When getting there I was not very pleased with how I was treated. The manager seem to be very confused on what I was trying to him at first. Finally he understood that I was telling him that the cheesecake had been forgotten to be put in a bag when I had ordered about a week earlier and I was just thereto retrieve the order that was forgotten. I had immediately pulled out my phone with the receipt to show him. He still seemed to be very confused. Finally when he realized what was going on he then told me that they don’t give away free food as I then let him know. It was not Free as I had paid for it. It had just been forgotten to be put in my bag. He seemed very hostile about the whole exchange, which left a very sour taste in my mouth. I did not like this at all. I planned to be a regular at this establishment as it seems to be a local El Paso restaurant that many people favor in this area, but this felt very disrespectful as I was able to prove my purchase and did not come with any hostility at all, but only just wanting to correct the order. He even made a statement saying to me that I should’ve said something earlier and implied, It was my fault that the cheesecake did not get put in my bag to begin with. Just not a very pleasant transaction. I don’t know yet if I will continue to go to this...
Read moreThe bald guy at the register was very very rude to me.. I just asked if I could have a cup for water.. he snapped at me right away and said "I don't have any cups for water " I then asked him what all those cups are behind him.. he than said that those cups cost.. I explained that I didn't have an issue paying.. plus I was goin to get a meal for my son . My son was very thirsty and I need water for him.. he began to give me Attitude for no reason ... yes the food may be good but service is always first priority ... it's upsetting when someone has attitude for no reason.. assumes you don't want to pay.. and isn't helpful at all.. and rude . the worst part is if I was with my wife I'm sure he would've been very helpful and sweet .. because he knows her .. and we have been there...
Read moreI love everything about this place. I've only known about it recently through a friend raving about it. Though I've already been 4 times. It looks like a dive spot, with an old sign you barely notice passing by but don't let that fool you! The food is great and all made fresh as you order. The most popular sandwhich is the tatunka according to the workers, it's like thinly sliced buffalo chicken sandwhich. I typically go for the philly cheesesteak, add some cheese sauce on it! Absolutely delicious! Also the loaded fries are amazing, customizable to whatever your heart desires....and they DO NOT skimp on it....absolutely every single fry had cheese on it! Also the bone in buffalo wings are a must try! They do also have kids meals and offer various discounts to students...
