I went to you guys 5 years ago in search of an engagement ring for my future wife! However, this happened after visiting many jewelery stores in El Paso.

Let me tell you a little bit about my experience outside of Johnson Jewelers... I was treated pretty terribly at all the jewelery stores as I was a broke college student with little to no credit. I really felt helpless and mostly hopeless when it came to trying to aquire that magical engagement ring of my dreams. These other stores wouldn't wait on me, or told me I needed to pay more, or tried talking me into rings I couldn't afford or insulted me by making me feel like I didn't matter. I felt like Julia Roberts in that memorable scene in Pretty Woman... Big mistake! Huge!

My last resort was Johnson Jewelers. I met this fantastic guy named Jimmy (who still works there I think) He was so so so helpful. He taught me about the four C's when it came to selecting the right ring. I couldn't believe how helpful this guy was... He knew I was pretty broke and my credit sucked. That didn't matter though... He managed to help select the right ring. I walked out with an affordable payment plan, an engagement ring AND a wedding band. Since that time, I've graduated with a bachelor's degree and a master's degree and I do alright in life now. I have returned many times to Johnson Jewelers and have bought a lot of jewelry from them. There is not another store in El Paso that treats me with the respect that they do and I will not forget it. For that reason I will continue to do...

Raul is an exceptional jeweler. My partner and I went to him with some stones we found camping to have made into wedding rings. Raul treated us with deep kindness and respect even though we weren’t asking for something expensive. And he put in a tonne of effort to cut and shape the stones and build the rings. He worked with us like an artist, and he very clearly demonstrated to us that he has a lifetime of experience. He was quick to understand our style but not presumptive and he explained easily what were some of the requirements to make the rings physically strong to last a lifetime. I think he really enjoyed the opportunity to build unique rings and we absolutely couldn’t have found a better artisan to create our dream rings. I truly, truly recommend working with Raul. Also, on a personal level, he’s a delightful person with a big smile. ☻

We also had the opportunity to meet and work with Christine. She aided in the conversation with the ideas about the rings and she couldn’t have been more kind and delightful. I felt welcomed and immediately at ease with her.

I can’t recommend Johnson’s Jewelers enough. From what I gather, the resident jewelers there have all been working together for 20+ years. I could immediately feel that when we walked in. The atmosphere is inviting and kind. Everybody has a smile and there is not a hint of arrogance.

A True Gem of a Jeweler – Thank You, Jessica!

When my husband and I were looking for the perfect ring to commemorate our 30th wedding anniversary, we had already been through six months of frustration with another jeweler. Then we walked into Johnson’s Jewelers and met Jessica and everything changed.

From the moment we met her, she truly listened. She understood how meaningful this ring was for us. I had my heart set on something very rare: blue diamonds. Not an easy request in El Paso, but Jessica went above and beyond. She arranged to have several blue diamonds shipped in just for me. Within less than a week, I had my custom anniversary ring in hand!

Jessica was incredible, attentive, communicative, and caring throughout the entire process. She texted and called to keep me updated every step of the way. By the end of the day the diamonds arrived, my ring was finished and ready to wear. It’s absolutely perfect.

Thanks to Jessica (and a little divine intervention), we now have a beautiful piece that celebrates 30 years of marriage. Johnson’s Jewelers has definitely become our go to especially for Mother’s Day when I know I’ll be treated to chocolates and flowers, too!
