Holiday Nails — Local services in Elfers

*Update... decided to give the new owner a shot. Salon has been updated and is super clean. They did a beautiful job on both the pedicure and full set. I will for sure be going back. When I walked in the door the nail salon instantly took me back to circa 1985, but I thought well I will just give it a try. Alan was doing nails at the front and his wife was in the back eating. He looked up, asked what I wanted, I told him a pedicure and a full set! First I was instructed to pick a color. I was deeply, deeply disappointed in their color selection to say the least! They had very little polish to choose from and half of it appeared to be old and dried up. His wife came out and started the pedicure, which was not worth what I paid! She cut my toe nails into the quick and was very rough! It was literally a 5 second pedicure and my husband could have done a better job for free! The hot towels are way too hot and the polish lasted less than three days! The tools also look old and wore! So Alan goes to do my nails and he is raving about the “gel nails” that he “invented”!!! Now I know he didn’t invent gel nails but I do have to hand it to him they don’t have an odor and they are strong just like he stated they would be. However, my problem is that they grew out way to fast and the shape is terrible they are thicker on one side of the nail than the other making them look funny and they are very thick and heavy feeling! I had an appointment scheduled for the fill and another pedicure but decided not to keep it after reading similar reviews. I am going tomorrow to get the nails he put on soaked off and others put on at a different salon. I really like Alan he is very friendly but his product just...

I MOVED BACK TO FLORDIA ON MAY 24th THIS YEAR. WHEN I GOT BACK I NEEDED TO FIND A NEW PLACE TO GET MY NAILS DONE SO I DECIDED TO DO SOME WALKINS AROUND MY HOME .THE FIRST PLACE I WENT WAS HOLIDAY NAILS AND SPOKE TO A NICE GENTLEMAN BY THE NAME OF ALLAN. BEING THAT THIS SALON WAS THE CLOSET TO MY HOME I DECIDED TO GIVE IT A TRY.ALLAN TALKED TO ME ABOUT POSSIBLY CHANGING FROM ACRILYC NAILS AND TRYING GEL NAILS . I ALSO DECIDED TO GIVE GEL A TRY. I MUST SAY I AM SO HAPPY I DID!!!! I WORK IN RETAIL AND AM VERY HARD ON MY NAILS BUT ALLAN WAS RIGHT, I WOULD LOVE THEM!! NOT ONLY DO I ONLY GO EVERY 3 WEEKS FOR A FILL BUT I HAVE NEVER BROKEN A NAIL!!!ANOTHER THING THAT IMPRE3SSED ME WAS ALLANS GUARNTEE THAT IF I DID BREAK ONE HE WOULD FIX IT FOR FREE. I had a full set of nails done at a local establishment and they were so bad I couldn't wait to bite them off a day later. I found Holiday Nails, a local establishment. I was in desperation of finding some one that could fix the mess I had on my nails. Here is where I met Alan, who worked a miracle for me. He explained that he could fix my nails using a gel as opposed to acrylic which is stinky and messy. I have never been so happy because he delivered what he had promised. Pretty nails! Needless to say, I have been going to Holiday Nails for years and I will never go anywhere else. Alan does a wonderful job and guarantees his work. His gel nails do not lift, peel or break and never loose their shine. I highly recommend Alan & Holiday Nails to everyone. When you walk in their family owned salon, the walls are lined with photos of customers with custom airbrushed gel nails. If you don't see what you like he will customize a pattern just for you. If you are traditional, you can go for just a french manicure. I guarantee once you come here, you won't want to go...
