I came here as I filed an insurance claim and this place was the closest to me and has great reviews. I had never had to file a claim so when I came in and was asked for the phone password and to disable the “find my” app it was weird to me. But i understood. They replaced my screen within an hour. Dude that helped me was very nice. After having the phone back, the next day I noticed the phone was just shutting off. Bluetooth and wifi kept disconnecting, and was getting an error on the apple pay. These were issues the phone was not having before. Even during the screen being broken. This started after the replacement. I called the store to explain what was happening. They told me to bring it in to replace the screen as it had warranty. I did. When i brought the phone back they told me i had to leave it overnight. This was not ideal as i had an urgent matter the next day (traveling to see a sick relative). A guy from the back I asked if it was a replacement he could get it done but the guy helping me said its not a screen replacement. I asked further questions as i am not an expert with electronics and had been told over the it would be a screen replacement. Apparently I was rude while I was asking questions like: why wouldn’t these issues have come up when you guys tested the phone after the replacement? these issues were not happening prior to getting the screen fixed (while the screen was broken the phone was functioning), what could be causing it now? Why cant you swap the screen to a new one to test it?
These questions led to the owner/manager of the store refusing me service. Because I was being rude. When I explained I was not trying to be rude and that I am very novice with all this he asked if I wanted him to call the cops to get me out. I asked if i could get the old broken screen back (I wanted to see if there was damage on the other side of the screen and maybe the broken screen maybe cause other things to break?) he laughed in my face and said no. I asked in his professional experience, if not the screen what could be causing these issues? He said the mother board. He did continue to refuse service even after I had paid and the screen has warranty…. Which idk how I can use it if hes refusing me service?
Also, if there are other potential issues why not diagnose the phone prior to accepting service on the phone? It is very possible its the mother board but also possible that its a...
Read moreAs long as I live anywhere near CPR cell phone repair, I wouldn't go anywhere else. I came in with an unresponsive touchscreen due to water damage ( phone fell in toilet 😭😭). Bray diagnosed it and had it fixed promptly. My phone is not a popular model so we had to order the part, which caused a few days delay, but as soon as part came in, Bray had it fixed in an hour. As a bonus, he also fixed the clogged speaker of my friend's phone for free. Prices are reasonable. Good, trustworthy service. I would feel comfortable recommending Bray and this company to my friends and family. He won't steer you wrong. As much as tech issues suck, you can feel confident it will be solved and you won't get ripped off or taken advantage of in any manner. 100% customer satisfaction. Thanks Bray, now I can squeeze a few more years out of this...
Read moreThe absolute worst experience I've ever had. After having a broken screen, we brought it to the Bowes location and they said it was fixed and even convinced us to buy a screen protector. The ipad button wasn't working correctly, so we brought it immediately back the next day and they blamed it where the screen was broken originally. After 2 more visits to try to get a working ipad screen, they continually wanted to charge us more, even though the original problem wasn't fixed. All it took was one trip (and more $$ for a new place) to UBreakIFix and it was corrected and perfect. IF you want it fixed correctly the first time,...
