I took a chance on Samano Styles Salon based on the reviews on google and I am so glad I did! Jose and his team are amazing. I chose Samano for my daughters quinceañera. We did a hair and makeup trial, hair and makeup for photo shoot, and hair and makeup for the day of the quinceañera. Jose and his team take time to listen to what you want and make great recommendations and suggestions based on their experience. During the hair and makeup trial they were so patient with my daughter and redid areas she initially didn't like. I appreciate the way they communicated with her and made her feel special. Through this, she was able to walk away with a look she loved and felt confident in. Jose will make you feel like #1 while you're in his chair. On the day of the quinceañera, Jose and his team came to my house to do hair and makeup for 5, including the quinceañera. They came on time and had us all ready in time. Their energy and personality made the morning so much fun! They came at 7:30, had us all ready by noon and our hair and makeup held up until 3am! I wish I took pictures but the day was so busy. They pull hair so aggressively when washing product out. As well as when giving you a blowout they don’t even properly comb your hair and the whole time it feels like getting your hair yanked out. Didn’t even get what I wanted at the end of the day, I understand if I can’t get to the color because I had previous dye in my hair, but I wanted a balayage and I never even got a balayage it looked more like highlights, like if I’m paying balayage prices I expect a balayage. I had even showed them a reference picture of what I wanted from their page!! I wasn’t sure what to expect at first, it looked okay, it looked slightly orange at first but I had fixed it with some toner I got in sephora but the way it looks was literally horrible because it’s clear they rushed it and only focused on doing the top part of your hair and not the inside. I got my hair dyed back to black professionally a couple months later and even the stylist had agreeing that the way my balayage looked wasn’t right. My mother and I have been clients of SÁMANO STYLES For sometime now. I highly recommend his salon and his products. JOSÉ uses the best products and Knows his color products and shampoo products very well. SÁMANO STYLES also has a GREAT TEAM That has great knowledge of the products, styling and cutting. JOSÉ is a Great stylist because he listens to us (Clients) but he also explains to us that this wonderful color we want sometimes it’s a process it doesn’t happen overnight.
