Ghetto-Fabulous Management! The Things That Were On Sale-Racks With Signs Weren’t The Actual Items On Sale (The GingerAle 12packs Mixed In With Different Cases Of Soda ) & Lazy Manager(s) Didn’t Want To Investigate The Items In Question Plus How The Heck Did The Manager Take Over From Cashier Omari’s Cash Register & Make More Mistakes Than The Cashier?! I Kindly Asked Her To Slow Down For My Sake So No Mistakes Were Made (She Was Upset Because I Asked For Assistance?); I’m Guessing She Wanted To Gaslight Me Because She Over-Rang Me For “33 Items” Instead Of “Only 30 Items” I Called Store But Of Course They Won’t Answer Phone. I Was Charged For TWO Extra Bags Or Doritos & A Entire Extra Case/24 Cans Of Sprite. I don’t understand why the manager said they’d re-ring the Doritos when she didn’t re-ring everything else but yet I get overcharged Not Twice But 3 Times Just Because She Didn’t Want To Be Of Assistance? I’m A Disabled Nana Who Merely Needed Help! This Is So Immature…it’s safe to say that I’l NEVER shop at Meijer’s Again! I Repeat How Did I Get ALSO Charged For A Extra Big Ole 24 Cans Case Of Sprite (Whereas The Cameras Don’t/Won’t Lie) But I Was Told That They Have No Security In Store At That Time To investigate and look at the hard drive from the camera to prove that I was overcharged & Told that I would have to take a trip all the way back out to Elgin, which is more than 38 miles from where I Actually Reside in order to retrieve my refund?! Manager Knew In Advance That My Main Concern Was Them Ringing Items To Fast, Going Too Fast, Being “All Over The Place” & Rushing! I Now I Have To Call Cooperate Everyday ; somehow retrieve a refund because I do not live anywhere near Elgin😢 I’m a disabled 61 year-old grandmother who is now inconvenienced because I have to find a way to get to another Meijer’s store via Uber just to get a refund of Over 25! I shouldn’t have to call Corporate… if they’re that upset at me for inquiring assistance for the cashier who was kind, all They Had To Do Is Their Due Diligence! I Merely Ask Manager To assist him…I Wasn’t Being Rude Or Uncouth! They Need To Be More Respectful, Have Patience, ethics & integrity. The Only Positive Thing That Came Out Of Shopping Here Was Tina In Clothing Dept; She’s deserving A Commendation/KUDOS for treating me the way She’d of wanted her Own Nana as well. I’m praying that Corporate cooperates and they haven’t went downhill the way Customer Service has at the front desk. They’re Ghetto-Fabulous Nowadays! Management’s Changed For The Worse! Don’t even bother to ask for assistance they’ll make sure you never ask for assistance again by sabotaging The entire transaction; making you have to come back to the store for a refund and they won’t even apologize for the inconvenience. They have caused the customer because they’re too ghetto Fabulous...

The store is extremely large & I found it difficult to navigate! I don't like when stores have sales, like they have! Buy one get 50% of second item! I only want one, why does a person not get a break for just wanting one? There were more of these so called deals! Some you had to purchase 2 or more items, to get the 50% of the 3rd. I did appreciate their milk prices, just over 2 bucks, no matter what %! The underwear, that is sold in packages of 5, just one of the basic names, was over $10.00. The best thing I got was a black belt, marked down from $12.00 to $4.99, 58% off. They also have different deals, pick out of a group of products, 5 for 5, which means, the items are on sale, but if you pick 5 out of how many in that particular grouping, you get an additional $1.00 off of each one of the 5! I am one person, there was only one item I liked on that particular grouping, I wouldn't know what to do with 5 of them, to save the extra dollar on each one of the five. One more think to mention, I have Agoraphobia, so I was in the store around 11, 12till 1 or two in the morning, with some one, accompanying me, so I wouldn't get too overwhelmed. I have had to just walk away, from several full carts, in the past! The only reason I mentioned this, is the few people, who were in the store, needed help, all over it! Dressing room, pricing, self checkout, which was the only thing open, until we got up there. I got to find several items, all I wanted to do is leave! So if you like shopping when there's no one around, I would recommend it, if you need customer service(I was asked 3 times if I worked there) go...

I just moved to the Elgin area and was unsure where to go for morning coffee...  I've gone to Speedway in West Dundee for 28 years, sometimes multiple times a day for coffee, soft drinks, roller items, lottery, and gas.  I thought, am I ever going to find somewhere so convenient, where the employees recognize you when you walk in, where you always get a smile when you walk through the doors, where you feel they could be members of your own family, where they really care about your day you're having.  Well, friends, I found it!  The Meijer in Elgin off of Randall Road is just the place for morning coffee, breakfast items, and gas.  The Manager Thomas Lile, and staff, Pam Sims and Noah Martinez are just the people you want to see in the morning!!!!!!  Professional, fast, knowable, energetic, inspiring, kind, dedicated, and most of all DEVOTED!  I've never seen three people work so well with each other.  Trust me friends I've watched firsthand while in line,  at other stations, where employees are talking smack about their fellow workers.  Pam Sims greets me every morning with a smile and a "good morning"...  Thomas asks how my Bridal Salon is doing and Noah is just so helpful... And girls... he has the hottest smile EVER!  If you don't believe me go see for yourself!  But while you're there you have to buy something... if not it just looks creepy...  lol.  If you're looking for kind, friendly, energetic people to assist you in "starting your morning off right", you need to stop into the Meijer Gas Station on Randall Road in Elgin and experience what I experience...
