This new restaurant took the place of Denny's on Randall Road in front of Walmart. When I saw that Denny's had closed, I was a bit bummed, but after eating here tonight I can say, goodbye Denny's and HELLO CASA TEQUILLAS!!!
Hands down the best Mexican food I have had!!! Their menu is enormous so take your time and look it over as there are so many great items to select from. I couldn't have everything unfortunately, so I will have to keep going back to try more of their menu, which I am already looking forward to! Their menu also has lunch specials so be sure to stop in then if you want to save a little money and start trying some of their delicious offerings.
I stopped in for dinner and really wanted to try some of their seafood selections after spending about 5 minutes looking over the menu, but I had a big lunch and decided to stick with their Burrito Tequilas. The burrito was stuffed with, ground beef, shredded chicken, rice and beans, then ever so lightly deep fried, and finally covered in cheese dip, burrito sauce, and pico de gallo. Included on the plate are also strips of carne asada, cheese quesadilla bites, and chicken taquitos. It was amazing!!! Every bite was packed with flavor and I wanted to eat more, even when I was too full to take another bite.
I hope you enjoy Casa Tequilas as much as I did and I am already looking forward to...
Read moreIt is a nice Location, originally the Dennys Diner and now casa Tequila- there Jan plenty of parking and open space. The decor is what makes it just another trendy Mexican restaurant. From what has been open to what is now open with walls painted with colorful death (skulls) known as Catrina’s. Dark and with black lights that make Florence’s colors pop. Besides the decor service is good, with plenty of seating. The food is good. Good flavors and balance. The chips are good and the salsa very mild but with a good tomato flavor and sauce balance .
I had the fajitas, 3 meats, 4 shrimp, chicken and stake with a good vegetable balance and sizzling hot skillet. The side plate of rice, beans and more of salad to add to your tacos. A plus was the micheladas. The flavor and balance was good and not too spicy or basic mix. The negative was in knowing your Tequila inventory and availability. When your name says casa Tequila and you have to check what there is available it’s not good. But they do have all the normal Tequila names and flavors. No mezcal but it is still a place worth the visit. I was told and advised to avoid it but their experience was theirs. I will go back and enjoy another drinks en a different plate. Give it a try and enjoy it. It’s local...
Read moreI rarely take the time to leave a message Of the performance of any business , Because I understand there can be multiple factors why you may encounter a bad experience , but I'm hoping that this will reach ownership and my opinion will in a small way help the business.
Let me start by saying that the food quality is fantastic! , every dish that I've tried has been great. But unfortunately on everyone of my visits our server experiences have been unprofessional and weird which just makes Our visits very uncomfortable. Obviously this does not mean that every service employee there acts the same way, we've been greeted by very nice hostess and I've witness a young kid helping out on weekend With outstanding customer service skills, I wish his older coworkers would mimic more of his behavior.
I understand that now days it's hard to find Good help, but to my opinion some basic customer service standards shouldn't be so...
