Noodles and Company — Restaurant in Elgin

Update 12/21/24. My wife came in order food at 9.40pm and this rude shift supervisor Alexis said the grill was already turned off. She said they normally turned it off 10 to 15 mins before closing. WHAT? If thats the case they should change the hours to 9.45 instead of 10pm. A restaurant closing their grill is like a walmart closing their register. You might as well close and turn off the lights. When asked for the regional manager number, she rudely left and said i'll get it with an attitude like she can care less and dont come back for few minutes. When she came back she just brought corporate number. My wife asked for the regional name and number and she said i dont have that. So then my wife asked for the name of the restaurant manager name and number and when called it went straight to voicemail. General manager should always have their phone on in case of emergencies during business hours. We email corporate and hopefully gets a respond. Apparently I am not the first to complained about this restaurant stopped servicing way early before closing time and the fact its still happening its a reflection of the corporate to allow this to continue. I have read so many reviews for this location with very rude front line workers. This is the supervisor that is put in charge to treat customer this way and represent the company during shift is disgraceful. I ordered dinner for me and my friend. I made the order for pick up. When I got home I realized both of the orders were incorrect, after noticing this I then called to speak to a manager. The manager I spoke to was really cool & told me to come back & they would fix it. I let them know I live 20 minutes away & wouldn’t be coming back that night so he said come in whenever your back in the area. This evening I decided to stop by and when I did the manager on duty took my order saw the receipt & went to make the order correctly. When he gave me the food I checked it before leaving this time & it was wrong once again. He then argued with me and told me I was wrong. I ordered a bowl and the bowl had steak in it, he argued with me over and over again saying that I never said add steak. Finally he made it and over all was just really rude. He began laughing at me and telling his co workers that I never said steak. This was over all a terrible experience. I was so embarrassed and all I wanted was my dinner and made right. Not only did they mess it up the first time but a second time.

Also not to mention the kitchen was filthy along with the dinning area inside. On the kitchen floor they had card board boxes broken up and all over the floor those were also filthy dirty. I have been going to this restaurant for over a decade now. It is a favorite of mine. The food is great. If you're looking for pasta, you will find something here that you like. While I haven't had everything on their menu, as I am a creature of habit and tend to order the same thing, I can attest to the quality of their Mac and Cheese, Pesto Cavatappi, Penne Fresca, and Buttered Noodles. These are all excellent dishes.

I usually get the Wisconsin Mac and Cheese with extra cheese (cheddar) and extra sauce. It is a delightful experience. Their Mac and cheese is honestly a must try. Basically everyone in my life has had it at some point, because that is the gravity this place, this dish, holds for me. You also can have it many different ways now: BBQ Pork Mac, Truffle Mac, Zoodle Mac, Mac with chicken. There are a lot of Mac options, y'all.
