Worse service and experience here today. I came in for a pick up and the hostess or Girl at the front who checks your orders tookes at my order and 30 minutes later she will not give any information. Tried to speak with her three times and she will not even looked at me and she would walked away. I notice she did the same to another Spanic lady and she left the restaurante after getting not service. When I tried to check my order one last time, a nice boy took care of me and with the help of another worker help me with options and finally getting my food. Then I approached the girl and told her she was really bad on her service and more if she is supposed to be the first person anyone deals with it. She then complain about me and called me crazy in another language thinking I could not understand her. Right in front of me with other workers. It was Christmas Day, nobody wants to be treated like that. When I finally got my order . , a lady (owner or manager) and five other employees went after me, screaming and threatening me about taking a picture of this girl for my reviews. No other time in my life I felt so threatened, scare and mistreated by a business. When she ask me why I was giving bad reviews, I tried to explain but instead she threatened and offered no apology at all. No one time anyone apologized for the bad service and inconvenience . After a man from the kitchen came after me and started talking at my face I left the place scare. I will add this review and complain with BBB and other sites. god know what they did to my food.
Replay to owners reply: as a owner your should have taken care of this issue before I posted any reviews. For customer reviews and service purpose, we are allowed to post videos and photos. Yes, we should appreciate work AND customers as well during ANY time of year. Hardworking does not mean she has good customer service manners, she ignore not only me but two other customers that night, the only one that did not walked out of there was me and I wanted to make sure this doesn’t happen again. As a owner you should listen to your customers, handle the problems your self instead of threatening with other employees. This review is ALL on you not me. I was a happy customer that just wanted my dinner and was ignore 3 times and yet I was willing to give business and talk this over. You did not do your job. You should train your employees better and treat your customer even better. The only thing you had to do, is apologize This girl will not even looked at me or check in my order again. Read moreThe first time I tried this food, I ordered it through delivery and was pleasantly surprised.
The next time, I decided to dine in at the restaurant. I made a mobile order, but when I arrived, I found that there was ample seating, contrary to my expectation of a cramped space like Fortune House.
The first employee I encountered was a young man presumably in his twenties. I informed him that I had initially ordered for takeout but had changed my mind and wanted to dine in. He accommodated my request and directed me to a seat.
The second employee, an older gentleman, seemed to interpret my actions as a crime when I went to take a seat. I clarified that I had made a mobile order and intended to dine in. The frustrating aspect was that the first employee, who was right behind the second employee, could have easily informed him that I had already spoken to the first employee and that everything was fine. However, he remained silent and didn’t even glance in our direction.
Undeterred, the second employee proceeded to lecture me about the complexity of my request. Despite my understanding and willingness to takeout if necessary, he continued to lecture me.
When my food arrived, the second employee informed me that the manager had denied my request to dine in and that I would have to eat outside. There was no apology offered.
While I understand that my request was unconventional, the miscommunication between the employees made the situation frustrating. Fortunately, the food was still delicious, just like the first time. It was probably for the best that I opted for takeout since the restaurant was swarming with bugs. I believe that’s why most people prefer takeout over dining in.
If you plan to visit this restaurant, I highly recommend ordering takeout. Also, be prepared for any requests you make, as they may react as if you’ve asked them the most...
Read moreWe were long time customers, at least 15 years, but not anymore after tonight. We ordered 1 boba tea with our meal and they sent and charged us for 12. We called and they said they’d credit it us for the extra 11. Simple enough. Of course, we opened a couple more over the next hour for other’s in the house to try and stored the rest of the fridge, planning to send some home with a friend and keep another couple for tomorrow.
THEN, as we were finishing up our meal, the manager/boss called back asking us to pack up the drinks so their driver could come pick them up. Bizarre and rude, no? Will they trash the drinks? Try to resell them? Have they sold us pre-sold food? As I said, we’ve been customers for 15 years so they should know we weren’t trying to dupe them for free drinks.
Anyway, it felt like they were punishing us for their mistake. Seems like they could’ve let well enough alone. It was just an hour ago, we haven’t received our refund yet. AND: as I write this they called a third time to say we only returned 8 so they wanted to refund only four. Really disappointing and frustrating, especially because my mother with stage 4 cancer is the one fielding these calls. Not classy, Silver Lake.
