It was a dark night. Snow had just fallen, the cold finally gracing us with its presence. My wife and I were on our way to Kevin The Arch Heralds Laboratory. Thats when we saw it. A little taste of home. A memory blown away in the frigid air. Chick-fil-A. I remember the colors, the smells, the atmosphere, and of course… “my pleasure”. We noticed the driveway seemed quite full, so we decided upon eating within the establishment. As we open the glass door, a gust of despair whooshes past. Of course, this made my wife uneasy, after all the last time we felt a gust of despair, our first born was lost in a treadmill incident… but this is beside the point. We proceeded into the restaurant, hesitant but hungry. I could tell by her now feral attitude, that my wife had sensed the presence of a Chicken sandwich no mayo. I begged her to take a seat at one of the nearest booths, but she refused my guidance and bum rushed the employee behind the register closest to her. I heard his yelp, then heavy breathing, and then nothing. silence. I watch as my wife stands back up, almost like a snake uncoiling itself. She motions to the back of house employee to run, which he graciously thanks her for as he sprints out the door. He doesn't know. It’s all a game. If she didn't get you now… she will soon. I watch as she kicks down the kitchen door (completely unnecessary, it was both unlocked and a swinging door). She immediately located the chicken sandwiches and consumed as much as her heart desired. Up until that point I didn't even believe she had a heart. I apologize for the trouble we’ve caused this fine establishment, and my support and grievances go out to the family of the victim. Grief comes in many forms, and i am sickened by the fact that my wife is a horcrux of fear. I will make it my life goal to make the sacrifice worth it.

Read moreUpdate 6/25: went there again and they AGAIN messed up the two orders in the drive thru. How hard is it to get a chicken sandwich meal correct?? It’s so annoying. You should not have to check the bag of food before leaving the drive thru to ensure the employees actually do their job and get the order right. Its so annoying and inconvenient when you get home and realize they AGAIN got the ENTIRE order wrong!
I’ve been to this location a few times and each time I have ordered a chicken sandwich meal and a salad, however both times that once I got home, only 1 meal was in the bag, no salad both times. I didn’t think it would be that hard to get two meals Right on the same order. Both times we had to drive all the way back to get the food we originally ordered. It’s frustrating because no one wants to have to go all the way back once they are already home. This past time they didn’t even have the salad on the order once I checked once I got home and noticed even tho I very clearly told the person in the drive through my order and they confirmed it back to me, yet the food I was given did not include the...
