The in store experience was good. The employees were pleasant and helpful. However, the company policy, which is set up to discourage in-store shopping, seems self-defeating for any business that already has a large investment in a brick and mortar presence. In my case, I had researched online and headed in to pick up a specific item needed for a project. I noticed the advertised price was a specific amount and highlighted as being on sale. When I took the item to the cashier, it rang up full price, nearly $5 higher. I pulled out my phone and googled, there was the lower price for all to see. Another employee said, "Click on it. First I will say, great employees! I did not want to. But I placed an order online for pickup simply because it gave me a 30 or 35% off coupon If I ordered online for pickup. I was told in store they could not offer that. I am not old but I guess I am kind of old because I do not like shopping that way. I was picking up a present for a family and just decided to order it and hope that it was what I want it. Everything worked out great! My biggest issue is why he offer 30 to 35% off if you order online for pickup instead of shopping in a store? Is that so they could decrease the amount of jobs they have to give actual humans to do?
