Cicis Pizza — Restaurant in South Carolina

My wife & I visited Cicis, 715 Fashion Dr., Suite 4, in "The Village at Sandhill" yesterday, (1/31/18). W O W ! ! ! ! They have done an overhaul/refurb job on the restaurant! ! ! Really looks nice, and I complimented the manager, Joe, on how great it looked. (Joe has been the manager for 4, 5 6??? years). Joe said that all this took place the week after Thanksgiving. If you're in the area, please do stop by and enjoy the fresh, new, totally different look of this store. I will also add that its been roughly a year since we have been there due to the fact that my wife is going through cancer treatment. Just look for the red tile on the wall behind the buffet line------what a nice surprise! ! ! ! The booths are on the back wall across room from the buffet bar. One size pretty red plates, revised salad bar, new "sneeze-guard" covers over the pizza, and some of the TV's have been relocated, too! New tables throughout, and even tables for challenged, (handicapped/wheelchair), patrons ! ! ! ! ! You have to go see for yourself ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! W O W !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I believe you'll be surprised and really enjoy the store and the food!!!!!!! :) Sorry I didn't have the time to take pictures. 10/31/'22. UPDATE: Cici's has updated all the games and even expanded into the dining area! :) The game room has all new games, too!! The pizza is still tastes great, and a wide variety of flavors. Visited on a Saturday evening with the grands at about 5. Place was already packed. Waited in line just inside the door for 45 minutes. Line wasn't moving. Despite the line, there was ONE cashier and she was not at the register half of that time. And yes, there was only one. Manager was greeting people waiting in line to seat them, but ya can't seat people who can't get to the register to pay. Then the people picking up take-out were moved to the front of the line, so the one cashier attended to them and every one else got to wait longer. Child in party in front of us then threw up.

When we finally did get seated, it was pandemonium to get drinks and food. They can't get pizza out fast enough. You can't move from one area to another without stepping on kids.

Bottom line....don't go on Saturday. This was our second Saturday visit.....and the last. Manager states that this all starts at about noon every Saturday. But we have no idea how often it's like this, due to the fact that its right in Sandhills. So we won't be going back.

I blame this situation on Cici's corporate. Maybe add another store or two in this area?? We were at Fashion Drive. There's one more location....all the way on St Andrews Road....and that's it! Other restaurants have numerous locations all over town. But this one has exactly two....and this one is too busy for the staff to even do their job efficiently. Not...
