Haven't been to the store in about a year due to poor service and rude staff. Stopped in to give it a try and guess what, even worse this go around. How many staff members to assist in store 0 how many up front to put a wagon together 5 , 3 to watch 2 to figure out how a tire goes on. Had to physically walk up to one wait till he got through talking to ask to get some chickens. The individual had no clue had to show him the picture of bird. Then the poor birds were over packed. He then found one under the food tray that apparently they set it on. Then at register they wouldn't look up my military info for a discount that I registered for also would not look up my 4H kiddo to give her a discount. I tried to not be rude about it but they made such a rude deal out of it. That I finally said we will be sure and take our business elsewhere and be sure to worn others in club to avoid the rude unprofessional service. Also I liked how the staff all wore store jackets except for the one older male who was in a Hawaiian shirt "'real professional " figured he must be in charge to be able to dress unprofessional but yet he knew nothing and had to ask the other person at register but yet still acted like a jerk. Poor service, poor attitude, poor animal care. Keep in mind next time you head that way. Almost forgot charged turkey price for chicks. Man didn't even look in box Jill's Feed is just around the corner. Give a local owner...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis place used to be my "go to" for boots and hats. What a huge downhill turn this location has made. Everything from staff to merchandise I no longer consider great.. I wouldn't even consider them good. I bet many locals can agree. I have recommended this location to so many friends, family, and co-workers and as of late; they have said this store is trash. Last time I went in was a month ago and I was treated like a 2nd class citizen. I'd hate to think it was because the color of my skin? I don't think it was a coincidence as the other people I referred this place to are also brown in color. The merchandise they used to carry is no longer carried and stocked as in most popular Ariat boots and Larry Mahan hats. I had to go to Sheplers (now Bootbarn) to get the items I wss looking for. The prices they ask for on same items sold at Bootbarn are more expensive and they do not price match (at least they didn't want to price match for me) it's ok though as I now find everything I need at better prices and get treated like a regular human being at Bootbarn...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWorst experience I've had in awhile. We went in trying to buy a lawnmower. They had two left of the ones we were looking at. One was missing its gas cap so I go with the other one. Well it wouldn't fire up. So they say we will see about a gas cap for the other one. I say ok and wait. After awhile the guy that was helping me is walking out to go home and says now another guy is helping me. So I continue waiting now I watch the cashier that had been helping me goes home as well. At this point I ask a manager and she says oh he's trying to find a gas cap. I wait another ten minutes and say no thank you and we leave I waited roughly an hour without any real help. You don't end your shift trying to help a customer. If you don't have the missing part or an equivalent product you let the customer know. Don't ever just leave them hanging in wait. Every one was just standing around at the register's talking basically leaving us ignored. I'm absolutely appalled by letting your staff go home in the middle of helping a customer. I would get fired at my job...
