Made a visit to local comic shop in town. Surprised that it was much larger than expected. Huge displays of comics the length of the store. Lots of posters, hobby kits and items. One of the nicest stores I’ve been into.

Greeted by the owner, Tommy. Had a nice chat with him about collecting stories, both him and I. I have collected comics for 65 years and about 10 years ago started selling parts of my 20,000+ collection. I did bring several books with me from 40s to 60s for Tommy to look at but I couldn’t accept his offer.

Absolutely amazing experience! First impressions mean everything and Clobbering comics is a place I plan on visiting again. Clinton made me and my friend feel very welcome. Shared wisdom and knowledge when we had questions. Suggested material for us to check out and read. Even his daughter showed up with the same enthusiasm for comics as him. This comic book store was a breath of fresh air. The art work on the walls the corner room with collectable comics the the volume of material. I plan on supporting this estabshment for years to come. Clobberin' Comics is the best place around to shop for all your comic needs! Tommy and crew are always able to get a hold of what I need and at a price that is fair to market. My new books every week are always there waiting when I come in and they have great suggestions on what else I would be interested in that they may have.
