What truly sets Etown Comics apart is the extraordinary passion and dedication of its owners and staff. They've created something remarkable, a space that feels like a home away from home for enthusiasts of all ages. The team doesn't just sell products, they share their knowledge with infectious enthusiasm, take time to understand customers interests, and forge meaningful connections with everyone who walks through their doors. Etown Comics has established itself as the beating heart of Hardin County's nerd culture. Their involvement in the community extends far beyond retail, as they actively organize and host EtownCon, a celebrated collectors convention that brings together pop culture enthusiasts from across Kentucky. This commitment to building community is evident in everything they do, from hosting regular gaming tournaments to providing educational opportunities through their innovative 3D printing classes and makerspace. Their offerings inspire creativity and technical skills in participants of all ages, teaching valuable design principles while making technology accessible and fun. The gaming lounge at Etown Comics is nothing short of spectacular, a meticulously crafted environment where retro meets modern in an exciting, immersive atmosphere. As an official Pre-release store for Pokémon, Bandai, and Magic the Gathering, they offer experiences that can't be found elsewhere in the region. Their tournaments span popular titles from Smash Bros to Pokémon, creating friendly competition in a family-friendly environment. The simple rule of "playing nicely" creates a welcoming atmosphere where everyone from seasoned players to curious newcomers can find their place. Perhaps most impressive is Etown Comics unwavering commitment to education and accessibility. They don't just sell collectibles, they teach the next generation about the joy and value of collecting with remarkable patience and insight. Their knowledgeable staff takes time to explain the nuances of different hobbies, ensuring that young collectors understand what makes their treasures special. All of this comes with remarkably affordable prices, making collecting and gaming accessible to enthusiasts of all ages and backgrounds. My family doesn’t just visit Etown Comics, we love Etown Comics, and one visit will show you exactly why!!

E-Town Comics is hands down the best shop in the area for anything Comic/TCG/3D Print/etc. The staff is all super friendly and helpful, up until they opened I rarely got comics because there was no local shop, they helped me get set up with a weekly pull list so I never miss out on new titles when they come out. I also recently got back into collecting Pokemon cards for the first time since I was a kid, a lot has changed since then but they always are quick to answer my questions and the community they have created a space for has to be one of the nicest groups I have ever been in. I also have trusted them with sending off multiple comics and cards to be graded. They always treat all of my things with care so they are in the best condition possible when they make it to PSA/CGC. If you have never been here you really need to go!

If you’re looking for something comic/card/game/3D print/ or anything related to this kind of stuff, then you need to visit Etown Comics. They will help you get squared away. From vintage to modern and everything in between they either have it or can find it. I’ve been able to finish multiple different collections thanks to Max, Morgan, Will, Evan and everyone else. They do events weekly and tournaments (or for fun) on weekends. Can’t wait to see the great things this place does! Shop local, shop small business (I’m not saying you’re small, y’all are growing everyday!)

Overpriced on anything besides comics. Thinks they know more then you do about TGC products, then proceeds to belittle you and be rude when their wrong. Big headed owner, literally. Tries to act like his store is something else that it’s not, which is just a comic store and should stick to comics. If you want to pay scalper prices for any TCG products then this is the place to go ! By the way, they’ll offer you 40% for any TCG cards you have regardless of what it is then mark it well over market value. Just some resellers in disguise.

Edit in review: how much did you charge for prismatic evolutions ? Because as I remember whenever calling about it I was told a price way over retail ($35/$60/$110) poster, binder, etbs. Then when I asked if your store would pay anymore then 40% for a $200 dollar card you laughed and quoted “if I paid 60% for cards that wouldn’t pay my electric bill”. If you have to screw someone over to pay your bills then don’t own a shop. Thank you :)

Response to yours, no I do not have the incorrect place I’m spot on. But it’s ok, I guess the store owner is always right now days exactly like I stated above, showing the true colors of etown comics. I’ll take my business elsewhere instead of arguing with a store owner 👍 and it doesn’t matter how many filler 5 star reviews you have your minions pump onto here, this 1 star will stay here.

Who’s Revs vault ? My name is Adam thank you for being able to read, I’m highly confused with your comment but I do not work for a company called revs vault and now it seems like a confused situation on your end. Thanks, I would rather not keep arguing with a store owner that can’t have a clear vision on how their business looks while talking to customers in this sort of way. Best of...

My young daughter just recently got into collecting comics and cards with her little friends the oldest being nine. I just did a quick Google search to find the closest bookstore to me. My husband has been collecting comments since he was a kid his favorite and most valued is over $47,000. My daughter has seen them.

This place might be good for little kids, but I was very disappointed to see how the owner responded negatively. Someone that posted a negative comment on here that was childish even my little six-year-old daughter said it was.

I’m not going to criticize a store owner trying to make a living now. I will not be taking my children there especially someone that post what they did on here. I’m sure they’ll respond negatively to this mother.

After I saw this and my daughter was extremely disappointed with all her friends. My husband told me to go down near the courthouse. And I would find a comic book store that not as bright and pretty, but the owner there and the workers are very polite more knowledgeable than anyone else will help you find whatever you need and want.

They were extremely polite to my little girls. And my daughter is now sharing the same hobby and collecting as her dad.

I do want to say I wish the owner of the store and everyone that works there and goes there the...
