Etown Comics has established itself as the beating heart of Hardin County's nerd culture. Their involvement in the community extends far beyond retail, as they actively organize and host EtownCon, a celebrated collectors convention that brings together pop culture enthusiasts from across Kentucky. My family doesn’t just visit Etown Comics, we love Etown Comics, and one visit will show you...
Read moreOverpriced on anything besides comics. Thinks they know more then you do about TGC products, then proceeds to belittle you and be rude when their wrong. Big headed owner, literally. Tries to act like his store is something else that it’s not, which is just a comic store and should stick to comics. If you want to pay scalper prices for any TCG products then this is the place to go ! By the way, they’ll offer you 40% for any TCG cards you have regardless of what it is then mark it well over market value. Just some resellers in disguise.
Edit in review: how much did you charge for prismatic evolutions ? Because as I remember whenever calling about it I was told a price way over retail ($35/$60/$110) poster, binder, etbs. Then when I asked if your store would pay anymore then 40% for a $200 dollar card you laughed and quoted “if I paid 60% for cards that wouldn’t pay my electric bill”. If you have to screw someone over to pay your bills then don’t own a shop. Thank you :)
Response to yours, no I do not have the incorrect place I’m spot on. But it’s ok, I guess the store owner is always right now days exactly like I stated above, showing the true colors of etown comics. I’ll take my business elsewhere instead of arguing with a store owner 👍 and it doesn’t matter how many filler 5 star reviews you have your minions pump onto here, this 1 star will stay here.
Who’s Revs vault ? My name is Adam thank you for being able to read, I’m highly confused with your comment but I do not work for a company called revs vault and now it seems like a confused situation on your end. Thanks, I would rather not keep arguing with a store owner that can’t have a clear vision on how their business looks while talking to customers in this sort of way. Best of...
Read moreMy young daughter just recently got into collecting comics and cards with her little friends the oldest being nine. I just did a quick Google search to find the closest bookstore to me. My husband has been collecting comments since he was a kid his favorite and most valued is over $47,000. My daughter has seen them.
This place might be good for little kids, but I was very disappointed to see how the owner responded negatively. Someone that posted a negative comment on here that was childish even my little six-year-old daughter said it was.
I’m not going to criticize a store owner trying to make a living now. I will not be taking my children there especially someone that post what they did on here. I’m sure they’ll respond negatively to this mother.
After I saw this and my daughter was extremely disappointed with all her friends. My husband told me to go down near the courthouse. And I would find a comic book store that not as bright and pretty, but the owner there and the workers are very polite more knowledgeable than anyone else will help you find whatever you need and want.
They were extremely polite to my little girls. And my daughter is now sharing the same hobby and collecting as her dad.
I do want to say I wish the owner of the store and everyone that works there and goes there the...
