Helmwood Plaza — Local services in Elizabethtown

This trip was to J.C.'s Smoke Shop. I am a pipe smoker. This shop carries my favorite black cherry blend by Paladin. Clerks are always friendly and fair pricing on products.

This shop also sells cigars including the more expensive specialty blends. CBD hemp products are sold, also. Lottery scratch off tickets are sold as well as the major lotto machine tickets.

As to the shopping center itself, next to this shop is a diner with limited daytime hours that is a local favorite. A barbershop/hairstylist, a dry cleaners, a laundromat with modern machines and a drug rehab office is located on this side of the center.

The main section of the shopping center is anchored by a Roses Discount Store, Kingdom Buffet Chinese Restaurant, Hallmark Cards store, Buddy's Furniture Rental ,Sav-A-Lot grocery, and the Hospurus Thrift Store.

Businesses near the entrance of the shopping center include a Magnolia Banking center, Firestone tire store, a radio station office, and some other specialty stores that sometimes change.

Hospurus Thrift Store Visit 02/29/2020 This is a charity thrift store run by Hospurs which uses money from sales to aid individuals needing hospice care (end of life). Most of the workers are volunteers. They accept donations of clothing, housewares, medical assist equipment, furniture, movies, games, books, jewelry, antiques and most other dry goods that can be resold. It is a clean store offering many bargains for the thrift store shoppers. I have shopped with them for years in the three different locations they have occupied in this center. This is the largest store they have had in this center. I highly recommend it and have also donated items...

Love roses love Sun Tan City there's a few other great stores around there and plus borders Eye Care is where I get my glasses pretty great Plaza and the laundromat that's right there great amazing staff works there I recommend 10 out of 10! But and I mean but with all caps never go to Pro Nails in that Plaza because I myself end up in the emergency room with an infection called paronychia and cellulitis in my finger from them using dirty nail tools and not cleaning them very...

A number of shops in which to..well shop. Bubbas cafe I've not been to yet...but I'm fixin to go Friday...the hallmark store is where I got some keepsake ornaments from the thrift store on the far end last I checked had a set of Norman Rockwell glasses. The laundry mat seems to be open all the time... The tobacco store has friendly service... There is a seamstress shop with a drive thru on the opposite end...
