Student Union & Recreation Center — Local services in Ellensburg

Last school year one could order a quesadilla with the following ingredients inside it's cheesy orifice: onions, olives, tomatoes, cilantro, and baja sauce. Now none of these ingredients are allowed to be on the inside. Instead they can throw them on the top in a haphazard fashion for them to fall into your lap when you attempt to eat this sorry excuse for a quesadilla. Many other changes that seem counterintuitive have been implimented as well. I'm glad I'm no longer forced to eat here and pay the exorbitant price for the meal plan and sub-par food. This place is awesome, it has it all. Smoothie/ coffee bar, tons of food options. Really nice gym with weights, indoor walk/run track, climbing wall. Student store with apparel, basic goods, student books and supplies it even has a computer store. One of the coolest things about it is the movie theater. It has newer releases that are free for students and 3 bucks for guest, the best part, you can bring in your own food. Tons of study areas, quiet areas, places to charge electronics, and wifi. It's hard to review the SURC as one thing, because it's not. It's many different things all in one giant building.. From food areas that I would give 2 stars, a store I'd give 3.5, and a ballroom and a bunch of other amenities that I'd give at least a 4 star.. It's hard to quantify. Firstly, DO NOT buy food there.
