CWU Wildcat Shop — Local services in Ellensburg

This store genuinely has some of the coolest stuff in town, especially when it comes to books and fun trinkets. However, they are a part of the college's somewhat money-hungry BS. Their stuff is a bit over priced, as is everything in the SURC (Student Union & Recreation Center) in which it is housed (especially the food... Stay way the hell away from the prices on the food there). Also some of the CWU Wildcat Shop's stuff is definitely not of a very high quality... Particularly the longboards and Skateboards they often have. If you are trying to get in to longboarding or skateboarding, do your research and take your time to get a board you KNOW you'll love. Otherwise, you're going to get one of the pieces of junk the Cat Shop has and you'll end up hating this...

I thought I was getting a deal by renting my book from the school at lower price than amazon, but I got screwed in late fees because of unreasonable return expectations. Having to return rental during finals week sucks and it’s ridiculous to charge the full price of the book and a late fee with NO second chance to get the book in. Every other text book rental service gives at least a couple weeks to send the book back and amazon gives you a MONTH. I will never buy or rent another book from the wildcat shop. The only reason I gave it two stars is because the tool to automatically pull up all required texts is handy to quickly find where books are...

Visited the CWU campus as part of a school trip with a group of 40 students. We visited the store to allow students to pick out merch. The employees were awesome and the selection of merch was well stocked. All the students got a great item to remember their school campus visit.
