Harper’s saved the day and provided a holiday miracle! Our oven died 2 weeks before Christmas and when I visited 4 of the big box stores, they all told me that in-wall, double oven replacements required a site survey to measure the cut out and check the electrical. It was going to take a week to get someone out to do the survey, another week to get the results back and at least another week to schedule installation. Needless to say, 3 to 4 weeks was not the answer we wanted to hear 2 weeks before Christmas.

I pulled the face off the broken oven and got detailed measurements, compared them against the required cut out for the broken oven to ensure they matched, then called Harper’s in Ellicott City. I explained the situation and the steps I took to get the measurements; they called me back in less than 15 minutes with 3 oven models they had in stock that matched the size of the existing oven cutout and scheduled installation for the next day.

So to recap, 3-4 weeks with the big box stores with multiple days at home to wait for a site survey and install; next day installation with Harper’s and wonderful customer service. We will definitely use...

Couldn't be happier with Robert and his team. This was my third attempt over the last 4 years to purchase appliances (we thought we were going to to a kitchen renovation but it never happened). Each time I worked with Harpers on pricing and they were the most competitively priced. However, what stands out to me the most is their service. They were so patient and kind with each interaction. Never once did they come across as pushy. In fact, they did not rush the process and took the time to explain features and benefits and answered at least 100 questions. We are expecting a baby this Spring and we have so many tasks and projects we are trying to knock out. I thought appliance shopping would be stressful, but this was the complete opposite of stressful. Most of the interactions for this purchase (made today) were done via email and there must have been 2 dozen exchanges. They were fast and prompt with responding. We thought we only wanted to replace one oven but ended up going with a single wall oven, a wall oven/microwave combo, downdraft, and a dishwasher. They have our business for life. Bought a GE refrigerator from Harpers. Had researched ahead of time and knew exactly which model I wanted. At the store, Robert gave me good information about the model that I hadn't known and suggested I look at similar models that were on display (the specific model I had in mind wasn't on display) so I could get a better idea of some specific questions I had about size and configuration. My biggest concern was delivery and installation and Robert assured me that Harper's would be able to deal with any problems.

Delivery was ontime and both of the men were knowledgeable and professional. As I had feared, there was a problem with installation. The men gave me a few options and then consulted with the rest of the Harper's team over the phone to get the help needed to finish the installation. I was impressed. In my experience, every appliance that I've had installed has come with some issue and several times the other installers have just left the appliance and told me it was "up to the homeowner to resolve"; but not Harper's. This store doesn't quit until the service is done. I'll buy all my appliances from them...
