Cafe EZ — Restaurant in Ellicott City

I’m giving 3 stars overall the food for the food is a 5 however service needs to be better. I’m taking off because there is NO ORDER for getting food out. I ordered the Maryland, a breakfast sandwich, and 2 plain pancakes. It’s Mother’s Day so I expect it to be busy however I got the Maryland then 15 mins later got the breakfast sandwich (the order was wrong) and it’s going on 25 mins and I still don’t have the pancake order (they brought it at39 mins and gave an extra order which we didn’t eat). My spouse and I didn’t come to eat separately we came to eat together…. There are too many cooks in the kitchen to NOT have a whole order out at the SAME time. They should Work on one ticket at a time. Also the dining room staff are more focused on cleaning the table and delivering orders than making sure people at the tables don’t need anything. It took forever to flag the two ladies down to let them know or order was messed up, and that wee needed napkins. They were following each other around and talking to each other instead of taking a general look over the whole! dining room. My spouse and I love the food here so we will still patronize this location (this is our fav)and their the other location but there needs to be some TRAINING done in how to get the orders out together and on...

Upon arrival on a Sunday afternoon in June 2018 at 1p my guest & l were able to sit comfortably while we looked at the menu.The staff was very helpful when asking questions about the menu and seemed patient. Upon confirming what we wanted we placed our order and our food was ready within 13 minutes. 🍳🥞Food Temperature👍🏽✔ & food was deicious. The price for the amount of food we purchased was fair.🥪🍽

The other guests and families👨‍👩‍👧‍👧 around us were appropriate but some were rude as space was limited & some weren't cautious when moving their chairs and would bump you EaZily. As a person 6'2" tall l did feel very cramped as the were about 25 others in the dining area. 30+ people is a crowd in this establishment. The dining area is about 12' L x 40' W. This is not a good place for families with multiple children, especially a fussy baby, to dine in at👶🏻😾

The dining area floor seemed was extremely dirty with silverware, crumbs, coins and food (as displayed in the photo). As long as you keep your👀⬆️eyes up in this restaurant you should be fine. My guests left her hand sanitizer on the table upon exiting & the manager walked outside to bring it to her car🚗👏🏾 We both agreed we would definitely dine...

We went on a Sunday morning around 10:30 AM and it was extremely crowded . We were greeted, handed menus and told to order at the counter. We grabbed the only table available so that we could sit down while choosing what we wanted since we hadn’t been there before. After placing the order, our food came out in about 10 minutes. But the girl at the counter, forgot to give us our cups for coffee so we didn’t know that the coffee wouldn’t be served, girl at the counter should have given My husband our coffee cups so that we could make our own coffee at the coffee bar. Portions are small compared to the price. I had waffles and they were not crispy at all. They were very soft and spongy like pancakes. The chicken was about a quarter inch thick, size of my hand, breaded very thick. Flavor was ok. My husband and daughter had crêpes. My Daughter was served one crêpe with some Nutella and strawberries . And My husband had the Baltimore crêpe. Served with a salad that flavors didn’t match the entrée. They both said that they crispiness of the crêpe made it taste more like a tortilla, too thick. The best thing I can say about this café is that they had freshly brewed Hawaiian Kona coffee and...
