Meadowbrook Athletic Complex — Local services in Ellicott City

We love coming here on Wednesdays in the winter for their toddler play time! They open up half of the gym and leave lots of colorful and interactive toys for the kids to run around and play with!

On warmer days, we thoroughly enjoy their paved walking paths and their beautiful outdoor playground! The ground is made from soft rubber, so it's never too muddy to come play! They have a big climbing area and a smaller one, so it's perfect for kids of all ages! Lots of things walk, climb, and slide on!

They also have a nice pavillion close by with a handful of picnic tables where you can sit and enjoy snacks! Handicap accessible bathrooms that are well maintained, and lots of park benches to sit on while the kiddos play! There's not a lot of shade, so bring the sunscreen, hats, and lots of water and cold snacks to keep cool on the hot...

We love the MAC Pre-K drop in play time that they have MWF from 9:30am-12pm! It's just $5 and the wide open gym space is perfect for my 2.5 yr old son to run around in. He loves the scooters, bikes, balls, and parachutes around for general play and there is always a great assortment of children around to play with (usually around 2-5 years old). This place is massive. This is indoor hard court and has lines for basketball, tennis, pickleball and others.

You do need to call (or go online) to find out times scheduled for your activity and reserve ahead of time.

I went to play pickleball today. They had 6 courts set up but only 5 were needed today.

I don't know if they have that many additional nets, but the place would accommodate 18 total nets...
