I had an issue with my TV's Wi-Fi and wanted to have in-home service. This was my first time getting any type of TV repair done, so I went to Google, found a couple of repair shops, and called around.
Spoke to 2 different businesses and they failed to call me back or show any major interest in wanting to help. On my third attempt, I spoke with Jay from NJ TV-Computer Repair Center. He was patient, took the time to listen, asked me about what I'd attempted to fix the issue, and gave me the options of in-home service or bringing the TV to the shop. I found the quoted costs to be reasonable as I was paying for the service and expertise to have the issue resolved as well as the work guaranteed.
Jay was timely for the in-home visit, professional, and prompt to respond. I had a very positive experience. We ran into some hiccups with the wrong part that was shipped to him by the supplier, and he quickly reordered and scheduled another in-home visit as soon as the part arrived.
We later found out the issue appears to be specific to the TV firmware, which I am confident of as he went through all possible options to troubleshoot the issue. I ultimately even brought the TV to the shop and he took the time to try and diagnose the issue there as well.

I tried calling a couple of weeks after I dropped off my TV and he wasn't answering so I went in person. There was a sign on the door saying he was on emergency leave for a whole month so I said whatever and came back a month later only not to find him at the store when it was open nobody was there and I tried calling and he didn't answer and I was pissed, So I called a couple of days later he answered finally and I asked him what the status of the tv and he said he has to double check and get back to me, I never received a callback and tried calling him again multiple times and he said the same thing "ill get back to you". As a business owner, it's your responsibility to let the customer know if the TV isn't repairable or if it is I never received a call from him stating that. It is also against the law for you to say the store is open but no one is there he loves to just leave when he is supposed to be in the store working I caught him multiple times when I went in person he just wasn't there when online it says it's open and the sign on the door too.
