I recently had my brand new 2017 Jeep Wrangler tinted by B’s car stereo as they are local and we’re advertising window tint so I gave them a shot . WOW was that a mistake . First time , it was done early spring and it didn’t stick large bubbles very noticeable and that’s fine I’d let them know and if they can fix it when the weather was a bit nicer next week that’s good . Rick agreed along with the installer . So I dropped my car off all day for a second time . When I got home I washed the outside of my windows and noticed my jeep was scratched along the back window with closer inspection all the windows have been scored with razor blade on outside window as that is how they traced the film i found out . At this point all my rear windows are traced very noticeable when close up with razor scratches . My passenger door was not put on correctly and a bolt was pressing against plastic and was forming a stress crack as well. I drove up showed the window cuts and the door . They’re to busy to look at it and tell me come back . They have installer fix door real fast . I get home notice I can’t even roll window down or open door if I wanted as when installer fixed bolt the door didn’t line up with handle now its a simple mistake but non the less had to go right back have them adjust so I could use passenger door handle . Mind you this is probably 5th time I’ve Been there and never once left satisfied or with any service completed . Month later rick has safelite come to replace/fix back windows and to retint the whole vehicle himself as the tint job sucked again . Upon dropping my car off for the 3 rd time all day . I get a call saying safelite shattered the back swing window . I show up only one window is replaced which was cheaper then factory window they took out . none of my front windows were even retinted yet and now I have no back window at all . He only had two ordered for the day when they ruined 3 . I was very upset by this time it’s been 3rd time my car has been dropped off all day for a simple job and I’m leaving not happy and with my actually property damaged and the service not completed . He then get heated arguing telling me they are going to choke slam me with other employees and to leave the shop while everyone is watching and my car is still in processing of getting glass cleaned up . Then rick Asked me if my jeep was broken and I took it to the shop if they give me free stuff as by now I’m asking for complete refund and any type of customer satisfaction for the inconvience and terrible time trying to get this simple job done . I actually told him I have a warranty and jeep gives me a rental and they fix the factory issues and give me working car back . Rick on the other hand shop is performing a paid service botching the job and then yea responsibile for replacing exactly what he destroyed . He didn’t feel that way for some reason . At this point I just want windows in my car and forget the tint. He then actually argues again about taking the scratched windows that as he could really use them and telling me he paid for them lol . Actually they are mine I paid for them and you ruined them and you paid for replacement to fix your mistake . Kindly gave him my factory glass which he claims he paid for which is not true . Today safelite calls me says on way with mopar factory glass to replace and finish job and if bs taking care of it as was it was on their work order. Jobs completed now B’s is claiming they didn’t agree upon factory glass and cost was to much . It was glass you ruined that is what they are responsible for nothing more nothing less . Safelite is now threatening to remove my windows if b’s doesn’t make payment . I said to leave my property and put vehicle in garage . Please save yourself he headache and time in dealing with a company that clearly doesn’t care about it WORK or it’s Customers. I will never recommend that location anyone . At the end of the day I’m having to pay finish line auto to remove and retint my front and to tint my rear .Beware crappy work...
Read moreI've been going to B's since I got my first car nearly ten years ago for a variety of audio equipment, from radios to harnesses to dash kits and speakers/subs etc., whatever you could think of to install myself and never had any issues, always a pleasant experience. Unfortunately, this time it was far from pleasant, but really only for one reason. First, I got a call on my way there to drop my car off for a remote start install to tell me that he had misquoted me by mistake for the install, around the tune of ~$180, because he didn't have some stuff listed on the build that was needed, which is okay, we're all human and we all make mistakes, that part was inconvenient but it's whatever really, not a deal breaker. When I got there, Preston and Glen were both helpful in explaining the mistake they made and going over the stuff I actually needed for it to work properly in my WRX because of the manual transmission, etc. I didn't even ask for a discount for their mistake or anything of the manner, I was offered 10% off because of everything which does help when the price goes up that much, and I was totally fine with that. Then a different gentleman came over, I think his name was Bill but I don't recall, said to give me $25 off instead. Okay, it's considerably less but it is what it is, I'll take it for the hassle. After walking back in from the walkaround, I overheard Bill(?) ask the other coworkers "Why would we give him $25 off?" which I thought was odd considering I was right there, but I figured it probably wasn't in reference to me. At checkout I asked about the $25 off they offered to me, to which I was told no, with really no explanation as to why. This is where my issue with the entire situation comes up. It's rather repugnant behavior in a business transaction to go back on your own word, even over something as slight as $25, but it happened twice with the initial offer of 10%. It is what it is, I'm not even mad, just disappointed. I understand human error, but I don't understand the lack of honor. My advice to anyone considering business with them for major things is to get any and all aspects in writing. I'll consider continuing business with them for audio equipment, but I'll more than likely take my ranger to Auto Details next month for the remote start install.
TLDR: Handful of good people, good selection and stock, be cautious and get...
Read moreI just had 2 remote starts put on. My girlfriends CRV and my Edge. Let's start most everyone there were very polite and friendly. Issues: Once both vehicles were finished we went to leave and the battery was dead in the CRV. I jumped it the guy who installed the remote start said that the battery died on him also but never said anything to us about it. We got the two way start which in the CRV you can lock/unlock and start the car, which everything worked. Once the Edge was finished and I had to jump start the CRV got home and I couldn't lock/ unlock the Edge with the remote. So I call the up and he said to bring it in the next day and thet would look at it. I drive back up there and he goes are you trying to lock with the remote and why wouldn't I just making sure everything works right. He then tells me my car doesn't work like that I still have to use my key to lock/unlock. Someone really should of went over all of this to start with. Maybe I should of ask more questions to start with but expect some info up front. Knowing this remote wouldn't do on the Edge what it does on the CRV I might not of had this done. It is not cheap I spent over $800 for both vehicles. So for anyone else not knowing much about the remote start, ask questions. Know what you want it to do and find out if it will do that don't expect because you might be disappointed like me. They showed us the remote up front and telling us how it lock/unlock with the remote then to have it only work like that on one of the vehicles just doesn't...
