Bob Evans — Restaurant in Elyria

I was very disappointed in the service I received today at the Elyria, Ohio Bob Evan's the waitress I had did not bring her A game to work with her. When I was seated I asked for a Carmel mocha coffee it was brought to me cold. I then placed my order and when my food came the pancakes were doughy inside not even done. As I sat there eating the rest of my food the manager was running around restaurant barking orders at her employees outloud. I was not even asked did I want a glass of water by the waitress. However, I did let my waitress know the pancakes were not done inside. She then asked me did I want to speak with her manager I declined because the manager was already hollering orders around to the workers and they were busy I guess trying to do their best. But that is no excuse for poor service when we're spending our hard earned money. Okay folks here goes the kicker, when I get to the counter to pay my bill there was a young lady already waiting on a customer. Therefore the manager came up and said I can help whoever is next so I stepped up. She asked how was everything, I said to her well my pancakes were not done. She said sorry to hear that and in middle of checking me out just turns and walks away. The other young lady seen her just turn and walk away so she comes over and finishes the transaction. While dining alone, I was verbally assaulted and threatened with physical assault by a customer 2 tables over because he didn't think I should have my phone open. After repeated pleas for the man to turn around and leave me alone, the manager came over to my table. I told him the man had just physically threatened my safety. The manager didn't even bother to offer either of us a different table. He then came back to the mans table and repeatedly apologized to HIM. He came back to my table and asked if I wanted a to go cup for my drink, basically asking me to leave. At that point I was afraid of I went to my car in the dark parking lot alone that the man may have followed me. So I said no thank you on the to go cup. When the man and his female dinner companion went to pay their check, the manager repeatedly apologized to him again. Still not a word of apology to me when I was the one who was physically threatened in their place of business. After i was certain the man had left the property, u then went to pay my check and asked for their corporate number. Only then did the manager offer any apology. Too little too late. Bob Evan's doesnt care about the safety of their guests. When I asked him why the man got several apologies after threatening me his reply was he wanted to make sure the man had a good dining experience. He didn't care at all about my dining experience when I was left sitting there in tears afraid to even...

I went into this location today and ordered the same breakfast meal I order everytime I go to a Bob Evans for breakfast, 1-2 times a week ..... the WHOLE HOG breakfast. When I asked for two French toast instead of one French toast and one pancake, I was told by the waitress I couldn't substitute, I replied I know on occasion they will charge a $1 more and I am fine with (although most of the time they do not). She repeats NO WE CANT DO IT AT ALL. I am like as a cross country driver I have gotten it at Bob Evans country wide, except one other Ohio location that gave me the same nonsense excuse. Nope, then it changed to the computers won't let us. When I said so you can't meet the customers expectations and give customers excellent service because a computer says so?? So I gave up, went across the street to the Dennys and spent my $20 there and enjoyed a delicious Build Your Own Grand Slam!! This Bob Evans locations loss was Dennys gain!! Glad most Bob Evans aren't managed by moronic thinkers like this. Do yourself a favor after reading my comment as well as the other negative ones and just skip this location. Once there business suffers ..... MAYBE they will care about...
