FITNESS:1440 Englewood — Local services in Englewood

I have belonged to this gym for a long time and found it fit my needs well. However, after a surgery last year my use of the gym had tailed off and I went in and spoke to the pleasant young attendant about terminating my membership last February 4. I knew there was a 30 day notice required, but I was surprised to see the bill recurring through April. I spoke to a desk attendant again recently but she did not appear knowledgeable about how to quit. I called the billing number on my credit card bill and was told I had to submit a written termination - something no one had ever told me. I had quit the gym some time ago before without a written notice, so this was a surprise. I got Blaise's (the owner) number and have left messages on his line - the attendant had taken my phone number for him to call me - all to no avail. Now I am up to $114 due for the 4 months the billing company (Paramount Acceptance) says I owe. They have finally received my termination notice and will accrue no more - I think. I suggest that, at least the attendants at the desk know of this procedure so members do not incur months of payments not expected, I thought I'd have to pay February's and possibly March's dues - not April and May's. Good gym - but...

I'd like to discuss a membership bur I'm not sure how. I've tried calling but it just rings and I never reach someone or a voicemail. When I go during open hours to meet someone in person, no one is ever there. I've tried emailing and never got a reply. My local gym was destroyed in the hurricane and I'm looking for another option. Could someone please contact me with membership details?

just got a worst gym checked in, on arrival worker boy said you can't come for 3 days trial unless you have Englewood address, ( no disclosure of that) later same boy used profanity and treating physically hurt me and my wife. Of course after all that nastiness I would not come to this place if someone give me free pass for 10 years..... terrible...
