I stopped in here it was mainly an an impulse buy as I happened to be turning around in the parking lot and spotted this place so I stopped I bought their club sandwich I think it has ham and turkey with mayo for sides I just chose the homemade potato chips simply because I never saw those anywhere else before so it sounded interesting and I got a strawberry shake
I ordered the sandwich etc for someone else because I have cancer and still have a feeding tube due to a huge surgery I had so for myself I got just a shake my sister...who ingot the food for thought the food was pretty good well both sisters did I had 1 with me who also ordered the same thing as me the shake I had was very good I thought it was better than any shake I've had in this entire area and I live here amd all I can eat basically is ice cream so I know all the ice cream places 😅 so I would definitely recommend trying this place the shakes are great in my opinion and my family enjoyed the food we got from here as well also the inside of this place is kind of interesting like an old fashioned diner style inside with various bits of historical/music memorabilia and the staff were very nice, friendly I think this will be a regular...
Read moreI have been coming to this place 20years and it is the full embodiment of the statement "if it ain't broke, don't fix it". From The Beatles to The Wizard of Oz; it sparks a great jog down memory lane while enjoying a delicious banana split, milkshake or a fabulous egg salad sandwich with their famous SPUDS on the side. That was always a favorite of mine. Great for families!! If you visit Englewood and you don't check this place out, you are cheating yourself out of the full Englewood, FL experience. Oh, did i mention their fresh, homemade soups are...
Read moreHad lunch here. The food was awesome. Great tasting burgers, fries were hand cut and crispy with the right texture interior. You can tell they knew what they were doing. The slaw was fantastic and just the right amount. All of their soups are homemade and so is the ice cream. Didn't have the ice cream yet but will definitely be back for it later today. The owner is a great person and very friendly and the staff was on point. The atmosphere is perfect for a little cafe with a theme and feel from the fifties. If you ever find yourself close by here or even if you aren't it is well worth the drive. And you can help support a local business owner at the same time. Tell them Ray sent you!! Lol...
