As someone with sensory issues that make typical salon experiences overwhelming, frustrating, and even painful at times, finding Salon Opal was a true blessing. I have had countless disappointing and uncomfortable experiences at other salons due to my special requirements, but my visit to Salon Opal was a breath of fresh air.

From the moment I walked in, I was met with understanding and empathy. I explained my sensitivity to cotton and the nail tech, who was incredibly accommodating and patient, assured me that my needs would be met. Throughout the entire appointment, she made sure I felt comfortable and at ease.

The nail tech took the time to listen to my preferences and worked meticulously to ensure my nails looked exactly how I envisioned. Not once did I feel rushed or judged for my specific requests. Instead, I felt valued and respected as a customer with unique needs.

After my exceptional experience getting my nails done, I was so impressed and delighted that I returned the next day with my sister for pedicures.

Once again, the nail tech at Salon Opal went above and beyond to ensure that our experience was nothing short of perfect. She provided the same level of care, attention, and sensitivity that had made my first visit so special.

Not only did she deliver beautiful pedicures without using cotton, but she also made us feel welcome and comfortable throughout the entire appointment. It was a rare treat to find a salon where my needs were not only accommodated but embraced with warmth and understanding.

The color selection and modern atmosphere is as far as this place goes. I gave this place a shot twice with each time getting nothing but worse; even brought my friend and we both wer disappointed and felt ripped off. You come to relax but they do nothing but bring their own drama into their work place is the first issue. The second is no one is lisenced and they are all learning as they work on you like some guiniepig and then you still have to pay FULL price for medicore work. Gel for both me and my friend chipped within the week and had my toe cut my first visit. Came back again just for a color change on my acrylics I had gotten elsewhere and even somthing so simple became an issue. She filed my nails down and changed the shape even tho I said I wanted nothing but the color changed because she was too busy conversating to pay attention. When I told her she filed my nails down really bad and showed her the inconsistency I asked her to take them off and restart again( even agreed I'd even pay more for her mistake for the new set I didn't need). She then rushes with an attitude ,with an empty salon, makes every nail completely different sizes and shapes as I nicely point it out the entire time showing her pictures to base off. She continuously assures me at the end it will look fine. I let her get halfway done and it was the worst work I have ever seen. I politely ask her to remove them so disappointed and her whole demeanor changed. She had someone else remove my nails and said nothing to me after that. I went in with $70 acrylics and left without any and no compensation or apology. I get fake nails all the time and this was the absolute worst experience I've ever had. I feel ripped off and that is why I decided to write this review. I don't want someone else to waste their money...

This salon is clean and nice looking. That is where it ends. I made an appointment for the a dip manicure and spa pedicure. My pedicure was decent but nothing special, the gal doing it was sweet and nice. However, the owner did my dip manicure. She was rushed to get to her next appointment (even though when I called the day prior and I was happy to come in at any time), my dip was sloppy, all over my fingers with chunks missing out of it, when she filed I was grimacing as it hurt so bad. I tried to nicely say a few times that I was concerned with out it was looking(I have had many dips and knew this was bad) I was assured it would look better at the end. Well shocking at the end it still looked horrendous!! I asked to just have it taken off. The owner didn't even come look at it again or apologize for what happened. My nails are now TRASHED and I was left to pay to for the pedicure with absolutely no compensation or even a "sorry" to come out of her mouth. I am not one for negative reviews or making a stink but this was the WORST salon I have been to in years. Take EXTREME caution. Not worth...
