The first thing this place needs to do is remove the word âChristianâ. Thereâs nothing Christian about this place. They literally collect money, food, furniture and everything else from those thatâs willing to help and support the homeless just to collect it because they sure do not âhelpâ. The benevolence counselor and receptionist are both rude, inconsiderate, and not helpful at all. Everyone in the city of Enterprise needs to STOP giving them funds and donating to them because they do not help! In fact; they do not properly consider nobodyâs situation. The secretary places people on hold and then consult out loud with the counselor and proceeds to tell the counselor âI donât think he needs helpâ. Then the counselor responds well tell him Iâll call him back. Which Iâm sure that guy never received a callback and more than likely was in a crisis. Everyone has to be careful with this place. Last but not least; check your bibles. âChristianâ is a man made word/religion. It doesnât exist no where in the Bible and nobody in the Bible was âChristianâ. Think about it. If they were truly helping anyone then there wouldnât be so many people out on the streets walking around with no where to go. Nobody has to take what Iâm saying and run with it. Just get their breakfast, lunch, and dinner hours and go up there and talk to the people there for so called âhelpâ and ask them yourself what they actually got âhelpâ with. And theyâll tell you ânothingâ. And theyâll also tell you how rude theyâre In The office too. The only help here is a âmealâ. With food they donât pay for. Food others donate. Perfect example publix. They receive funds from everybody around the city plus the state. And still only bare minimum gets the...
   Read moreYesterday one of my friends need it assistance and the Christian Mission was there to help the family in need.
The Christian Mission did what the Bible said in Lucas 4:16-19
He came to Nazareth, where he had been raised; and on the Sabbath he entered the synagogue, according to his custom, and rose to read.
And he was given the book of the prophet Isaiah; and having opened the book, he found the place where it was written:
The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, Because he has anointed me to give good news to the poor; He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted; To proclaim liberty to the captives, And to see the blind; freedom to the oppressed;
To preach the pleasant year of the Lord.
El EspĂritu del Señor estĂĄ sobre mĂ,Por cuanto me ha ungido para dar buenas nuevas a los pobres;Me ha enviado a sanar a los quebrantados de corazĂłn;A pregonar libertad a los cautivos,Y vista a los ciegos;A poner en libertad a los oprimidos;
A predicar el año agradable del Señor.
Very respectfully,
Pastor Estevan &...
   Read moreAll these horrible and selfish reviews from people who didn't get what they wanted, when they wanted, and how they wanted it. I came to the Christian Mission over 3 yrs ago and was admitted into their New Life Center program. I have been affiliated with them ever since. I entered this place from jail, a drug-addicted sinner of the worst kind. I was treated with compassion, love, and respect without earning (or deserving) any of it. I have seen such good works done here. Meals to the home-bound, three meals a day to local "walk-ups", financial assistance and food to those IN NEED, etc. Is the Christian Mission perfect? No. Because it's run by flawed human beings...who are doing their best to follow God's will that we love and serve one another. These people get paid a pittance (those that do get paid), they do this for something greater than themselves. Does the Mission help EVERYBODY who comes in wanting something? No, because EVERYBODY wants something for nothing...so they have to determine (to the best of their ability) how to help. This place has helped so many, but we tend to only hear from the few it doesn't... Those OUTSPOKEN few who probably aren't telling the whole story of WHY they couldn't be helped. But God...
