UPDATE: March 2024
We purchased a new refrigerator this week - a great improvement from our old model. Our favorite salesman, Bruce, has retired, but we still received great customer service from David and Joe. It was delivered on time and on the date we chose. The two delivery guys were quick and efficient, but didnât seem to speak English - a little creepy when I asked questions. The fridge is working fine - we should have upgraded years ago.
Some issues I encountered: Our old fridge was still working, just undersized for our needs. I asked if the delivery guys could simply put it outside for me as I wanted to donate it to a charity (EUMA of Erie). The salesman said I would have to pay the $75 disposal fee! I didnât think the that was very nice, especially having been a customer there for 20+ years.
My other issue is with another salesperson, Ashley, with whom we have had issues before. This time I simply asked her a question - âIs the fridge you sold my brother-in-law yesterday the same counter depth as the one Iâm purchasing?â In typical Ashley fashion she got defensive and barked back. I thought that was a simple question with a yes or no answer. As I said, weâve encountered her rudeness many times and wonder how she keeps her job there. Iâve made notice of her attitude previously but never received a phone call nor an email. No matter - my advice is when you decide to purchase something there youâll want to speak with Joe or David, unless youâre in the mood for attitude!

My wife and I have purchased many appliances over the years at Dugganâs. Refrigerator, washer and dryer, and now our new stove. We've always had great service and the delivery guys have been polite and professional. Our go-to salesman is Bruce, a very nice man with a no-nonsense approach and kind attention to our needs. We strongly recommend him, but Iâm sure any of the guys on the sales floor will give you the same great service. Our new stove is perfect for our familyâs use - we really shouldnât have waited so long to replace the old one. Thank you...
Read moreI'm in my last month of pregnancy and of course our washer broke. We made the mistake of ordering from a big box company, were given a delivery date in 48 hours, received updates that the washer was coming and at the end of the day it canceled. Another weekend spent at the laundry mat and a nice gentleman suggested I call Duggan's. Let's just say I'll never make the mistake of not shopping local for appliances again. After searching their website I called on a Tuesday morning and spoke to Ashley. They didn't have the one in stock that I had researched but Ashley quickly checked the stock and found a comparable washer. Our dishwasher also seemed to be close to end of life and since Ashley was so helpful, I asked if she could recommend one of those as well. Within 30 minutes I had a quote for both in my inbox. I ordered both and not even 48 hours later they were delivered! I received frequent updates when the crew was on the way and what stop of the day I would be. As a nurse and a pregnant mother I was pleasantly surprised to see the crew arrive in masks worn appropriately. The dishwasher was a very tight fit due to ours being an older, small model. The delivery crew lead by Joshua attempted several fixes and to no fault of their own couldn't fit it perfectly. Ashley called back the next day and offered me several options on how to rectify it (again this was not Duggan's issue). Since they don't make smaller models now, I chose to have my husband trim the cabinetry up some. I am extremely happy with both appliances and will be recommending Duggan's to everyone. From start to finish an easy, amazing process. Thank you so much to all involved from a very pregnant mom that doesn't have to go to the...
Read moreI have purchased appliances for four of my houses from them in the past. My family has been buying appliances from them for decades. I thought I would always shop there until today. We went to inquire about kitchen appliances, but left because of how rude, arrogant, condescending, and ridiculous Joe's behavior was when I asked a simple question. Not to mention, I called two weeks ago and spoke to Joe asking for a price on the refrigerator we were asking about today, but he never bothered to call me back. Then he says "maybe if you hadn't have waited until the last minute to know if we can get it," when we weren't even there for the sale. He proceeded to ask a few times why we would go to Lowes when he could save us $1000? We never once even mentioned going to Lowes. What I said was we would probably buy somewhere else due to time constraints if he couldn't get the items we needed and asked when we would know. He wanted us to buy the other appliances before tomorrow to save us money, not knowing if we could get the matching refrigerator. He became visibly irritated when I asked how he could save us money, when he didn't even know if they could get the refrigerator or know the cost. I tried giving them the benefit of the doubt based on prior experience when they didn't call back. Today's experience demonstrated their sales tactics are now to push people into what they don't want to buy simply to make a sale. Very disappointing. I don't know, maybe you're overdue for some much needed time off, but so is the rest of the world. It doesn't give you the right to speak to people the way you did today. I'm sure you'll be happy to hear we will never return...
