Horrible ! One star is being KIND! Gave the Dr. 2 tries to correct my contacts. Ist visit went so-so used the contacts for a few months but still not clear vision, went back, Paid Again, was fitted 2 different times , then the 3rd was a bit better, but because the left lense wasn't in stock I had to wait till they got it in. Ordered contacts, tried them could "Not See", worse than when I first went in?? Now I have 2 boxes of their lenses because, I was told by them, that 1-800- Contacts was using seconds, Odd I have used them for 25 years no problems, and they take your unused lenses back in exchange for a new prescription, no worries. So I got them from Eye Glass World. But I CAN'T SEE... went to another Dr. not another Cheap Cost Co. and, like Magic... I CAN SEE!! Went back to Eye Glass World with 2 boxes of their unused lenses to exchange for the "same lense type" with the new prescription that works, but from another Dr. and guess what "SORRY, We Can't Take Them Back", so I'm stuck with lenses they sold me, told me, yes, these will work... No they dont!! Unhappy because if I purchased them from 1-800- contacts like the last 25 years they would exchange them, no problem, And they don't sell seconds, Walmart owns them, and they do not sell Seconds like Eye Glass World stated. RIP OFF!! Stay away!! You would think after the 2 exams and paying twice plus, my husband went there for glasses without problems, that they would take care of their customers?? Nope! You purchased the lenses Lady their yours, even if they don't correct your vision, NotOour Problem! Well my" NEW Doctor" exchanged them for me, now that's a Dr. who "Cares" and wants his client to SEE! And to top it off his cost was not much more than theirs !! Read moreWent to the Escondido location to pick up a pair of custom sunglasses for my husband, who was quoted over the phone by Ruby that they were being finished and would be done by 3pm, after the person responsible for finishing came back from their lunch. Upon arrival at 3:20pm, I was told it would be "1-2 hours" still. This location closes at 5pm on Saturdays, so I asked if they would in fact be done before they close in 1 hour 40min. They required 2 employees to "check on that" and recused themselves to a back room. They returned to state the same information, that they would not be done for at least an hour or more. When in the midst of asking another question, Ruby interrupted me, mid-sentence, to say "how do you want me to resolve this?" I stated I wanted them finished now, as soon as possible, considering Ruby has quoted my husband on the phone that they would be done by 3pm, and I arrived 20 min past to ensure they would be ready. I was informed that would not happen. I called my husband to relay my experience, and he called the store in the middle of his work day, was quoted only 30 minutes, and they were subsequently finished in only 20min. I was deliberately brushed off, I didn't feel any sense of urgency or concern, and discriminated against, considering my husband was able to call and get everything handled within 20mn. Read moreHorrible customer service. Had my contacts for about a week and they were uncomfortable so I went back to see the optometrists again. The optometrist wouldn’t see me and they just kept telling me things like “oh well maybe you’re putting them in inside out, maybe you’re pushing make up into your eye when you put them in, or maybe you aren’t cleaning them well enough. So about a month after that visit they call to tell me they are going to have to cancel the order for my contacts and re-order them. I asked them not to because I wanted to see the optometrist again to check the fit because they were still u comfortable. They told me they would see if the optometrist would see me again and call me the next day. They never called, I ended up going to the Santee location to see the optometrist there and that’s when I found out they did re-place the order for the contacts even though I asked them not to. Then when I needed to return the contacts I had to go all the way back down there to take care of it. My over all experience was awful. The people that I dealt with were condescending, unhelpful, and didn’t listen to me. Oh and I was right all along. When I saw the optometrist at the Santee location she put me in a new brand of contacts that were slightly bigger and as soon as she put them in she said she could tell they were moving better...
