I almost got scammed out of $20 then was made out like I was the one scamming them when I tried to get my change. Their credit cards were down so it was cash only. I walked next door to office depot to get cash out and then came back. After I ordered the cashier was hoping for the exact amount because they ran out of cash. I didn't but I already got served. The cashier kept my receipt and wrote down how much I was due. She told me to come back and explain what happened and I would get my money. I didn't get her name or my receipt because they way she explained the situation led me to believe this was SOP, or she would at least be smart enough to remember to report this to management if not for me leaving without my change then at least to explain why they were over on their cash till. I came back two days later and spoke to the most condescending manager ever. It was obvious from her tone that she didn't believe me since no one told her about this and they no longer had my receipt. She went to the back for a bit and claims she called both employees that night and neither conveniently remember my situation. She said her employees know to start using tip jar money as change and there is a reserve in the back. I told her the jar was empty and again explained exactly what happened. This whole time the manager had this smirk on her face like she knew I was lying. Finally, I got my money but she first made a point to say that I'm taking it out of her own pockets as if to imply that I'm the incompetent theif in this situation...
Read moreHorrible experience. I’m giving it 2 stars bc the first time I came here was nice and simple. The real horror took place on the 2/24. My birthday. I came the day before to place an order for an ice cream cake, I wanted it the next day, if they had it available of course. The lady told us that they might have it the next morning and to call the store early in the morning tomorrow to ask if it came in, so I did. I waited an hour after they opened and called by phone number. A worker answered and to my surprise, after I asked about my cake order they ENDED the call with no explanation whatsoever. I called multiple times and they answered multiple times just to hang up right after I asked. I was horribly frustrated. I even gave the phone number to my MOTHER for her to call and they did the same thing. They could’ve said that they didn’t have it but they took the easy way out and looked super un professional. Afterwards I did go to the store and ask for my cake in which they DID have it. I’m just frustrated overall at the experience and the lack of service. The cake was really good tho. Not sure if I will order again...
