Avoid this daycare at all cost if I could give negative stars I would. On Friday when I picked my son up from daycare he had a long cut to his forehead with dried blood on it. I asked his teacher Jasmine what happened to him she stated she didn't know, and the children were fighting over the blocks. I went to front and spoke to Delaney about it she said she would ask his teachers about. On Monday I asked Delaney if she had spoken to my son's teachers about the cut to his forehead, which she replied no. I then asked her was his teacher here and she stated yes. So I spoke to her and she calimed she never noticed the cut to his forehead. Impossible because it was very noticeable. Children's Paradise didn't even provide me with a ouch report until Tuesday after I grilled his teachers about their lack of adequate supervision and why they never made a report about the incident. On Tuesday Delaney says did you get his ouch report, I told her I didn't need it I filed a complaint with CDSS. When I returned 2 hours later to pick my son up Delaney and Jamie had maintenance men going around each classroom to fix the things that were broken. My son was in classroom 2 in his classroom there was a broken cabinet, torn screen, and a broken toilet. Which had been broken for months and by the end of the day the classroom smelled like a porter potty. A few days later when I picked my son up his teacher told me there was water on the floor and my son was running and slipped in the water and had a knot on the side of his head. This daycare NEVER CALLED TO INFORM ME THAT MY CHILD HAD SLIPPED IN WATER AND RECEIVED A KNOT TO HIS HEAD. THEY NEVER DID A REPORT ABOUT THE INCIDENT AT ALL. I contacted DCSS again and filed another complaint. Two lady's came down from Riverside to meet with me and my son about the situations. Not too my surprise Delaney lied and said the cut to my son's forehead was not noticeable. I provided pictures of his injury that he received and luckily a social worker was at the daycare and she asked Delaney and his teacher about the cut to his forehead in which they both replied they didn't know what happened. I provided the investigators with the social workers name and number so they could speak to her. The fact this daycare center would lie about a child being injured and not reporting it only speaks of their lack of integrity and their incompetence to properly monitor anyone's children. There is an active investigation into this daycare. If you want inadequate supervision and your child to be injured and never notified then this is the...
Read moreMy child has been attending Children’s Paradise since he was just 3 months old. As a parent, I was very hesitant about putting him in daycare, especially at such a young age. But from the moment we walked in for our first tour and filled out the paperwork, we immediately felt welcomed and reassured. The warmth and positive energy from the entire staff—from the front desk to the kitchen team—was evident from day one. Every single person greets you with a smile, and it’s clear that they genuinely enjoy their jobs and care about the children. Now, as my child approaches his second birthday, I am beyond grateful that we chose Children’s Paradise. Every educator he’s had (and currently has) has been incredibly kind, nurturing, and trustworthy. He absolutely loves them all, and I can tell he feels safe, loved, and happy there. Watching him grow and thrive in such a caring environment brings me so much peace as a parent. Thank you, Children’s Paradise, for being a second home to...
