Worst experience ever at a Tmobile location. Not that this review will actually matter to Tmobile. I went to switch my line to a postpaid one and buy a new phone. The manager, I assume, because he was the only person seated and looked older than the rest of the staff, he talked to me in such a rude manner. After questioning me why would I change my prepaid line to a postpaid one, he asked if I had SSN (which I know they request) and added with a hideous tone: "Do you even have credit?" Why did he assume that I do not have credit? Or is he not aware of Tmobile's offers which include more than one prepaid line, and that I might have bought it as one of those? I told him that I needed a new phone because I use it daily as a tool for my research, and he said to me "None of these phones will improve anything from the one that you already have." In other words, I did not know what I wanted or look as someone who could have credit nor as an informed client who knew what product was best according to their needs. Unsolicited advice and unkindness all packed up in one visit to this store. If I want the latest model of any phone and I wanted to pay full amount right there or impact my credit score that is my decision to make not...
Ā Ā Ā Read morePlaces like this are more of a sometimes-necessary inconvenience more than anything else, often understaffed with long wait times that would give an abnormally bad day at the DMV a run for its money. This store is, unfortunately, no different and unremarkable from a perspective of satisfactory service.
After waiting patiently for about 30 minutes, when it was my turn it seemed that the staff member who assisted me was rather curt and dismissive and very bluntly said that I couldn't be helped when the phone I was interested in was out of stock. He didn't volunteer any new information about when the phone would be back in stock, or how I could be better assisted by the company at large. The entire service experience was just dripping with apathy.
If you're a Sprint customer, chances are you'll be better served by the generally courteous phone staff or by working through their website. Unless they make a change for more effective staffing and a higher level of courteousness and volunteering useful information, chances are you'll leave this store with a bad taste in your mouth.
I won't be returning here. If I have to go to a physical Sprint location, I'll make the trip to Lincolnwood or...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreEmployee named Hassib was very rude and disrespectful to me and my wife. We came in for a simple phone upgrade. During the process, he kept referring to my wife as āthe womanā saying things like āthis phone case is for the womanā and āthis Apple Watch face is more for the woman.ā We both tried to rationalize it as a cultural/ language barrier but he never once addressed my wife appropriately and barely made eye contact with her during the whole sale process. Even though the phone upgrade was for her! In addition, we felt rushed during the phone data transfer process and felt it was not done completely as he stepped outside of the store to vape. Sure enough, that was correct and not all apps, contacts, or messages had been transferred over to the new phone. So we attempted to rectify the problem by returning a couple of hours later. Hassib initially ignored us and eventually blamed us for the process being done wrong. We will never be returning to this location and because of this experience are even considering switching our service...
