I waited for several days before writing this hoping that the situation would be resolved. Unfortunately, nothing has happened to rectify the wrong done so Iâm sharing my experience as a warning to other customers. I have consigned with Ken for many years. I sort of accepted his harsh personality, but he has literally gone too far. My last drop off was several months ago. My box was clearly marked with my name, and I was clear that I would pick up whatever he didnât accept. This by the way has ALWAYS been my routine, a routine that Ken should have been aware of since we talked about it several times. Selling my treasures is my side income which I take seriously. I have several different avenues to sell them, but I always gave Ken first choice. I received my email with my list of inventory and the message that some items were not accepted and they could be picked up in 7 days or they would be donated. I was back in the shop in THREE days to pick them up. They could not locate my box of items. Ken was not there. The sales associate looked everywhere, and she asked me to call back the next day, which I did. Again, Ken was unavailable and the items could not be located. I called several times and requested for Ken to get in contact with me, which he NEVER did. I made a final call and told the sales associate that I wasnât very happy about the situation and that I would like to be compensated for the missing items. I stayed positive and kind, and I told her I was sure he would do the right thing. Fast forward to time to pick up my check. FINALLY, KEN was there. I was given my check, but there was no additional money for the missing items. I brought it to Kenâs attention. He said, yeah I heard about that. I was flabbergasted, he heard about it but never contacted me!! Basically he dismissed it and said he has too many consigners to keep track of items. (That is very concerning!) It is clearly written in the email that you have SEVEN DAYS to pick up items, I was there in THREE. I suggested a way to organize it and he YELLED at me and told me he didnât need anyone telling him how to run his business. Without knowing what happened to these items I told him that his integrity was compromised. I questioned him, how do I know they werenât stolen, sold under another consignorâŚâŚ all I was asking for was a $30 compensation. He became very irate. He would not accept any responsibility. Instead, he ranted and told me that I could no longer consign (even though I still have items in the store). He yelled for me to GET OUT OF HIS STORE! I told him that I will, and I would gladly write a review about this situation. He pointed his finger at me and THREATENED me that if I said anything slanderous he would sue me. I assured him I would only speak truth. So very sad for anyone, let alone the owner of a store to treat someone that way. After reading MANY of SEEK AND FIND reviews, I know that many others have been treated in a very unprofessional manner. Life is way too short, and being rude can make life miserable. I am sad that KEN treated me this way and I honestly feel sorry for him. Fortunately, there are many other consignment stores that will now get my business. I DO NOT recommend this store...

I have always enjoyed looking at and have purchased several items from this store I find myself completely disgusted now. Today I had an experience that I feel is absolutely unacceptable. I was with my Dad today looking around, My dad has a disability and for his disability he has a service dog, my dad does not put a vest on his dog, he does not have to. I understand that people have fake service dogs and the threat that poses to real service dogs, but it is not anybodyâs business why my dad has this dog. People with disabilities are just trying to go about there day.
We had made it through the whole store and my dad had found a pair of chairs he really liked and wanted to purchase them. As we made our way back to the chairs we were greated by one of the workers(Male), he immediately said âis that a service dog?â(standered fair even when you wear the jacket). My dad simply replied yes and the Worker shot back âwell I hope it is!â. At this point I am in absolute shock, who treats strangers let alone potential customer with so much venom out of the gate? My dad got smart back, not awesome but understandable. Things devolved from there Iv never seen a person in a position of authority whine to clients or customers like that absolute harassment and threanting to ban us for having a service dog? Because we donât let people bully us? You do not get to ask questions about my dads medical issues you are not his doctor he told you all that is required that it is a service dog. I have never felt such hate from a total stranger and I am appalled by the way conflict was handled by a grown man. I really wish for everything to get better but I will never stand for bullying in any form. I understand that people have bad days, but this was beyond a simple mis-understanding.    Read moreWe stumbled across this shop by chance and loved it! Went home and raved about it to our family, even sent them a picture of a piece we liked that they could get us as a Christmas gift. We were so excited when they said they were making the trip to visit the shop.
Our excitement, however, turned to horror when they came back and told us that, after just a few minutes in the store, they'd found themselves in an altercation with the owner. Apparently he rudely accosted them over concerns that they might bump into things with a wagon they were using to transport the baby and the whole thing escalated to him screaming a profanity laden tirade at them, throwing them out of the store, and even following them into the parking lot threatening to call the cops on them!
We had just been there earlier that day and made a purchase, with plans to come back and get more but that's not going to happen now that our family has been treated so abominably! We had seen reviews about others having similar experiences with the owner and clearly didn't take them as seriously as we should have.
