I understand that times are tough currently and companies are having trouble keeping employees, but there is still a level of service that should come from and restaurant, be it fast food or casual dining.
When I stopped at this particular Burger King the line was decent but not too long. I then proceeded to sit in line for almost 20 minutes before I had a chance to order my food. I was told by an employee, whom was taking a smoke break that there were only four employees working that evening and that they were trying to remedy an online order that had not been delivered but paid for. As I came to place my order I was told there was no breaded chicken in the restaurant. I then changed my order, proceeded to pay and as I was waiting for my food an employee who was bagging my food looked at the order screen, looked as if they were verifying the order, and then handed it to me. If I hadn't stopped to check my order before leaving I would've been shorted a Jr. Whopper. I then parked and approached the door and it was locked, I walked around to another door where I could be seen better and proceeded to knock on the door/window. If I would not have attempted to contact someone from the door I would have had to get back in the drive-thru line and wait almost I could only guess almost 45 minutes to get what food was left out of my order.
Even though my order was fixed, this is still a reason that I feel that fast food restaurant employees should not be making $15 an hour. Preparing food from an order screen where it is clearly laid out how the food was ordered by the customer should not yield any mess ups. After an order is prepared it is then supposed to be verified by an order picker, either for dine-in, carry out, or drive-thru, and ensured that all items have been bagged or placed on a tray for the customer. We frequent these establishments for convenience but yet are met with inconsistencies and push back from restaurant employees when the order we placed was not prepared and/or fully verified by such employees.
I'm not trying to downgrade the fast food industry by any means, but when workers from this industry push for better pay and then are met with disgruntled patrons because of continued inconsistent service it does not benefit those on either side but especially those whom are receiving food from...
Read moreYounger man working tonight (8-18-24) at 11:50pm with dreads, glasses and facial hair Gave us our 4 Large drinks in a single untrustworthy drink carrier and asked my friend if she had it. with it being heavy in a single carrier one end started bending and we lost 2 drinks directly under the window. He said "I asked you if you had it and you said "yes" that's on you" then proceeded to shut the window and walk away. We sat there until he came back to the window and calmly asked him if he planned on getting us our drinks that were dropped. He told us it's not on him "gang" and he will not be giving us our drinks. shut the window and locked it and walked away. When the witness behind us pulled up to the window next she asked him about it and he got really disrespectful with her and told her he told us he would get them for us no problem... when she witnessed the whole thing. the manager came to us and got us new drinks but as he was speaking to the witness he was screaming at us when we were in the parking lot extremely loud and aggressive asking us what our freaking drinks were. -100/10 service with the exception of the manager lady making it right. HE ALSO FORGOT ALL OUR FRIES. ...
Read moreI was very upset last night when I got my whopper from Burger King. I had done a video talking about how I had just a tiny tomato that was thrown in the corner of my sandwich and then hardly any lettuce. I had also asked for extra mayo. The amount of veggies they put on my sandwich was horrible. I had already had a rough night and then I had dropped my dinner on the floor so I ordered burger King since it's one of my favorite places to eat. As a college student eating out is RARE to none. This was the first time I had gotten take out since the start of college and so I was excited for my sandwich. I didn't complain last night because I had other more important things to do, but man was I upset. The sandwich lacked the ingredients that would help make the sandwich better and I'm tired of complaining. The burger King near my house always sucks so I hoped a different burger King would do better but NO. Do better Burger king...seriously. because my family is getting tired of this ridiculousness. And we're tired of...
