Most of it was ok but had an issue with a game operator, my child was going to ride a ride next to the game and the man who was running the game made us and a bunch of kids to stand in.line behind the game and part of the ride, I told him that it was not safe for kids to stand back there it was dark and people could not see their kids back there, he said that there is a camera there and they would be safe, I told him that's not right and he had no right to make us stand in the dark like that, and he got rude and mean abt it, there was Porta potty back there and no one would ha e been able to see a child being taken and even if there was cameras the police would not have been able to get there in time, and any child could ha e been grabbed and pulled into a potty and go e before anyone would notice. I did report it and we went to another ride which our child rode 2 times and still no o e showed up to day anything to this man. I even put it on the site for the west side nut club and some e answered it and told where I needed to go and complain which was done but still kids was being made without parents to stand in the dark to ride a ride cause he would not allow anyone to stand even fairly close to his game and he would twll them to overdose and show them where they needed to go he was very rude and after that we left Young people was also taking beer and drinking it while at the festival which I thought was not allowed. I used to spend hundreds down there but this year cause of the issues I spent 20 dollars, and I might not go next year at all, I know I won't go...

There were three whole streets full of food booths but no shopping booths. The carnival was an average small carnival. Typical carnival prices. There were a couple shops in the carnival that had items that were over priced. I think the best part was the portrait drawing which they have at most fests. We caught some of the bands and I believe some of the talent show. We also paid both days to park. Honestly, it was nothing more than a huge food fest with a carnival and some music. It was...
Read moreThis is a private club made up of Evansville West Side businessmen. It is an outstanding organization of 300 active members, all men. They hold a fall festival annually on the first full week of October. This Westside Nut Club fall festival generates thousands of dollars that are then given back to the community over the next year through grants to schools and other nonprofit groups. This Fall Festival provides yet another venue for other nonprofit groups to earn money for their unique group as well. It's a win win opportunity for the entire community. I will make note that this Fall Festival has been touted as the biggest street event second only to...
