From the outside, you would never guess how exceptional this downtown Excelsior, MN shop is.

The owner, Mark and his staff are incredibly knowledgeable. They have been quick and professional in all the advice that they have given us over the years. They offer top quality bike gear, as we continue to embellish our bikes, which makes riding the Excelsior bike trails even more fun and safe.

I think they are most noteworthy for their repair service. You don’t feel like they are rushing the job to get done. The passion to do the bike repair possible comes through. Which part to use seems well thought out and options clearly explained. The shop is thoughtful of timelines and works hard to complete orders to accommodate vacations and road bicycle sporting events.

Their pro service attitude is tops. They are ideally located to assist riders on the 3 River parks trail, should a flat occur.

I enjoyed using my leather bike pouch, helmet, front and back bike reflector lights, and that I purchase last summer and used the whole season. They offered the hard-to-find helmet size that we couldn’t find elsewhere. We have three different types of bikes and it really handy that they have accessories that fit all of them.

They have a fun selection of retro style Linus bikes – I’m thinking about the bike basket that looks great and holds more. Looks like to goes off and on easily and would make taking along picnic items no problem.

As winter’s cold runs on, we’re already planning when we can be back on the bike path.

Mark and his crew are fantastic! I sincerely am grateful for all the help he's given me since he opened. I did not even buy my bike from him, and I'm embarrassed to admit that! They weren't open yet when I bought. My latest situation was a recall failure on my specialized bike. I called Mark lastnlast and he told me to bring it in. He dug through a parts bin and gave me the correct part, put it on the bike for me, and wouldn't accept payment. He just told me to bring it back after the recall fixed my bike properly. He got me on the road with the right number of bikes for our upcoming family vacation. I can't speak enough about his pro service attitude, friendly spirit, bike knowledge and professionalism. "We'll get ya taken care of..." That was the phrase that made me smile. I had called several other shops in the area for service and everyone else was booked for double-digit days. Here, I was able to get in right away. The service didn't go quite as planned, but the staff were always on top of things and informed me of the status along the way. New parts had to be ordered and didn't arrive when they thought. Instead of waiting for me to call and ask if things were done, they called me up and let me know the situation had changed.
