Went here twice. The first time, the nail tech was pretty nice and my nails turned out pretty good. I got chrome silver, which I'm not sure she fully knew how to do because she had someone standing over her directing her the whole time. In the end, they were pretty and there were only some minor areas that were slightly messed up that you could only really notice if you were looking super closely. Still, I paid $84 for this manicure.
This most recent time I went, I was treated incredibly rudely from the second I stepped inside. Their website isn't designed super well, so all of the options are hard to find/named strangely/it's hard to get specific with what you want, so I made an appointment for generally what I wanted and came in and asked if what I was looking for specifically was possible. The girl at the front desk immediately had attitude with me and was incredibly rude. She was angrily pulling out her equipment and barely even regarded me as she removed my previous acrylic set.
It seemed like she was doing almost everything there, as people would constantly come up to her and need help, which would make anyone feel stressed, especially since she was apparently the only one in the shop that could maybe do the design I was asking for. But...I wish she would've just respectfully let me know they couldn't do the design or schedule a different time when they could actually devote the time to it. I would've been happy to reschedule or even go with something simpler for them, but there was no respectful communication or transparency... Instead, she was super rude, rushed me around and then did a really rushed, not so great job on my nails. I felt so uncomfortable by her behavior that I didn't even want all the elements of the design anymore and just wanted to get out of there.
I felt pretty upset and disrespected, which is a shame because a lot of the work they do here seems great, at least on Instagram, but I will never be coming back here and absolutely don't recommend, as I was treated with immense disrespect and it seems like most of the nail techs don't know how to do basic techniques (like an ombre for example...). Absolutely shocked by how comfortable the staff was being incredibly disrespectful, especially when charging me $100+ for a manicure they didn't even care to do a good job on (ombre looks a mess, one of my cuticles is bleeding, and I even got nicked with...
Read moreI hate writing bad reviews...like, I rarely do it. I really wanted to like this place. I came here on three separate occasions, trying three different technicians. The first time I got my nails done, I had to come back and get them fixed because the paint started chipping (a first for me, as I always get hybrid nails). The second time I got my nails done, I had to come back and get them fixed again because one of my nails broke (again, a first). The third time, the technician (Crystal) did my nails fine...but she got offended when I asked her to do them the way I wanted them done. I like my nails as short as possible because I do a lot of typing. You can tell she got bothered when I asked her to file them down even more than she did. Additionally, she was upset because I used a coupon that was presented to me by whoever runs the nail salon's Instagram account. She went on a tangent on her Instagram right after she serviced me (see the pic). She also blocked my number (even though I reached out so that I can tip her) and my Instagram, and canceled the appointment I made with her for next month. Mind you, I shifted my schedule so that I could come in early and accommodate her, as she had to leave the salon early.
One common thing all of the technicians have: they rush. Why are you all rushing to do my nails, which I spend my hard earned money on? Them rushing is probably why my nails would always need fixing.
Anywho...leaving 2 stars because the salon is nice and clean, and there are other technicians that you all can try out. Plus all in all, the staff is nice. But based on the three times I've gotten my nails done, I'm gonna scratch this one off my list and try to find another salon.
EDIT: for Crystal to have a such a robust clientele, why is my little review bothering her so much? People have left worse reviews, so I’m confused. Also, posting my full name on her story is extremely unprofessional. She’s literally been going off on her Instagram for the last 48 hours, lol. I clearly said go to Raizun, as it’s clean and has friendly staff. Just make sure whoever services you doesn’t mind you making minor requests so that you get what you paid for. :) Also, playing victim is OUTRAGEOUS....
Read moreI will start with that I have been getting manicures and pedicures for well over 20 years and gel manicures for at least half the time.
Raizun is easy to locate, beautiful environment and people. The service is really great!
However, after putting down a decent amount of money for my gel manicure and pedicure, before going out of town for Valentine's day, I was very, very, disappointed that both the manicure and pedicure lasted less than a week. It was only a few days in that the manicure started lifting and chipping. The pedicure started chipping off in a week. Typically gel manicures will last me a good 2 weeks, and a regular pedicure at least a month and a half. Money down the drain! Very sorely disappointed.
Images are 5 days after my service at Raizun . . . 3/3/2025 Update
RAIZUN reach me so quickly to address my previous manicure and pedicure issues. They got me in as soon as I was available and fixed the problems mentioned earlier. With the same level of kindness and Beauty has before happy to share that my updated gel manicure and pedicure has so far lasted me over a week and did not chip after a few days. . . . 9/21/25 Sigh. After my earlier experience, I thought it would be a great idea for me to treat a friend to a birthday pedicure. Again, environment was great, staff kind... And again, while the service was nice, the polish job was very poor. Before getting started I asked my nail technician if she could make the sparkles fade, and she said yes. Then she applies the polish, gets the left side to fade and the right side (pictured) a clunky line of glitter. When I saw it, I asked if she could make it fade like we discussed at the beginning, she said she can't because it's not...
