If there is a -5 option. Would have rated -5. This is such a worst provider I have ever seen in US. They denied giving appointment stating that we had a NO SHOW some time back. We were new to Virginia and needed school physical to get admission to the school. So we were in a hurry to get appointment asap. So we had booked in 2-3 places out of which this tpg was one. However we didn't get any confirmation from them, so we proceeded with another, but later yesterday we tried to get back. After putting us on wait for 4 hrs and getting all the immunization records from us and finally they said no today. I understand we are not from US we are immigrants but that doesn't make us second or third class people with whom they can behave like this. Also if they are not going to give appointment why waste our 4-5 hrs and get all records from us. This is ill treatment and disregard or disrespect of others time. Never did this kind of negative review till date, but thought if we don't do this they will continue this with others as well. They denied us the service just because we had a NO SHOW, for which there was no confirmation or reminder from them. Even after knowing that a kid a was sick they just denied just because of that single NO SHOW which was completely not due to us, it was an urgent situation for us which we couldn't have avoided.

This shows their attitude of service for kids..quite shocking and dangerous attitude.. BEWARE of these people.

I feel the clinic visit is like "patient first" visit, we have NP Ms. Kim McCuen yesterday and I addressed that my kid may have some allergy and the allergy medicine seems doesn't work on him this time. She told us just keep taking the medicine (What!). At that moment I forgot to ask if we can have some allergy test to find out more details and she also didn't mention other solution to eliminate the uncomfortableness of the "poor-keep-coughing-kiddo" beside gave my son a does of steroid (and that doesn't help either) Later after check out, I saw my son still suffer from the coughing and went back to the front desk to ask if they can do something else. They told me they don't do any test in this clinic and if we need, they can schedule an allergy consultation for us and refer us to specialist. Interesting, I had different allergy test right in the clinic in USA, Asia and Europe, this is the first time that pediatric clinic can't do any simple allergy test on my kids and also can't give us any useful advise and solution. This is what I mean the clinic visit is like "patient first" visit. The only thing I got prescribed from patient first is antibiotic. Beside that, all they will tell the patient is refer to other clinic, specialist or go home and drink water. I picked this clinic simply because it is the closest one to my house but now, I will bring my kids back to their original...

I cannot recommend this pediatric clinic to anyone, and I feel I must share my experience for the sake of other children.

Here’s what happened: My child had a cough, so we went to the clinic. After a brief check, they said everything was fine but still brought out a machine for my child to inhale some medication, saying it would help her breathe better. I didn’t know any better at the time and trusted their recommendation, so my child received the treatment at the clinic.

I have always trusted healthcare professionals, so that same day I went to the pharmacy to pick up the prescribed medication. However, the pharmacist told me no prescription had been submitted. That’s when I realized that the person we saw was a nurse practitioner (NP), not a doctor, and they were not authorized to prescribe certain medications. Later, after consulting another doctor, I was told that my child does not have asthma — yet the clinic had given her asthma treatment anyway!

It felt like they put my child through unnecessary treatment just to make money, harming an innocent child in the process. On top of that, I later received a bill from the clinic with a long list of charges for all the unnecessary procedures.

This clinic relies on nurse practitioners to see patients, but they are careless and irresponsible. Please, everyone — be cautious with this clinic. This experience was truly...
