Very, very meh and not worth the price.

At first glance, the place seems large, contemporary, and priced to be excellent. Unfortunately it was none of those things. To start, there were about 4-5 tables indoors and outdoors with a few bar style seats so if it were any sort of crowded, there wouldn't be enough seating. Next, I got my order to go and paid almost $30 for a burger, fries, and soda. I ordered a "Mexican coke" which was a separate item on the menu. After I paid, I was given s plastic cup and reminded the cashier I got the Mexican coke, she said "oh we don't serve it in bottles anymore" because it was just another fountain drink.

Second, when I wanted to just have BBQ sauce rather than BBQ mayo sauce, I was charged extra even though it was just a replacement. For $14 for the burger, a replacement sauce should have been free.

Third, the food quality did not match price. The specialty burger was mediocre and salty. The ($9) truffle fries were vaguely tasteful and a very small portion. And the Mexican coke was just a fountain soda flavor.

Fun name and cool looking building isn't worth it. I'd much rather have five guys or any other fast service burger for a...

Yesterday, I placed an order as I typically do on a daily basis. However, to my disappointment, the ranch dressing I received was different from my usual preference and did not meet my expectations. Initially, I assumed it might have been a simple mistake in the preparation process, and I was understanding, thinking, "it's okay, everyone makes mistakes."

To my dismay, today I received the same unsatisfactory ranch dressing. Concerned, I decided to contact the establishment. During the conversation, I discovered that they were aware of the quality issue with the ranch dressing but continued to distribute it to customers. Despite their knowledge of the problem, the proposed resolution was merely a replacement of the ranch.

Given the situation and the lack of proactive measures to address the quality concern, I have decided that I cannot continue as a customer of this establishment. I value consistency and quality in the products I receive, and unfortunately, this recurring issue has led me to seek alternative...

I was excited and had had high hopes for this place. It was sorely disappointing. The establishment is poorly run and the staff does not know what they are doing. I saw 6+ employees and there were maybe 2 customers. Even management just stands around. We got an anniversary burger salad, a burger, cajun fries and a shake. It took nearly 20 minutes before they even started to make the shake. They packed the to go food with no napkins or utensils. We discovered as soon as we got to the car that the fries were cold.

The food was ok... Way too much salt. I got charged extra for what they called a "salad". It was a burger on about $0.25 of shredded lettuce.

The costs for the above was $44.50. We could have gotten 2 burgers with 2 sides of fries at a nice restaurant like Coastal flats with a dessert and would have paid less with tax and tip than we did here.

You can get a burger at Ruth's Chris for $16.00.

At this price point and poor service, I don't see this place staying...

Welcome to the neighborhood! Last time I went to a Big Buns was a decade ago at its original location in Ballston, so I'm glad to see it in my hometown. Came in on a Saturday afternoon and sat outside. Nice, brand new everything. I ordered the special burger, the Santa Fe burger, which has hatch chilis mixed into the meat. I also got a side of fries and a cup of water. It sounded excellent, but the price was not. Before tip, the total bill was just under $20, which I thought was a bit high for a burger and fries. I get that there is inflation, but I hope the price will come back down once inflation is reduced. I was also just short of receiving another loyalty point as well. After waiting 10 minutes, I received my meal and DAMN was it delicious! The burger had a nice amount of spice and the chilis with the sauce was excellent. The fries with the chipotle aioli were excellent as well; nice and crispy. I'll be back but maybe in a few weeks as the meals are expensive.

Are you ready for a mouthwatering adventure that will make your taste buds jump for joy? Look no further than Big Buns in Fairfax, VA! This place deserves all the praise it can get. First things first, let me tell you about the incredible staff at Big Buns. These folks are not just burger enthusiasts; they're true miracle workers of good vibes. On my first visit, I needed a place for a meeting, and they graciously let me set up camp without batting an eyelash. Talk about hospitality! And then there's my four-legged sidekick, Marina. Big Buns proved that their awesomeness extends far beyond their human customers. On my second visit, they surprised me by offering a dog bowl and water for Marina. Her tail wagged like there was no tomorrow! The level of thoughtfulness and care they put into their service is simply pawsome! Now, let's dive into the main attraction—the burgers. Prepare yourself for a flavor explosion that will transport you straight to burger heaven.

Burgers tasted great and were filling. My favorite would have to be the 9 year anniversary burger. There's something about the bacon and cheddar! The oreo milkshake were also extremely creamy. It was thick but tasted so good. Also having the milkshake thick helps prevent the drink from melting too quickly. I've also tried the oreo milkshake with the booze of irisih cream. It blends really well all together. And as for the root beer float booze, it was alright, i would rather get and try other boozy drinks. I like root beer so I thought of giving their boozy root beer a shot, and never again lol. There is also this one cool guy in there. He seems to enjoy his work well and knows how to greet customers with his own energy. If he's there, you'll see what I mean. But yes, with all considered, this place is worth a try if you like burgers milk shake and or even boozy drinks!
